Chapter 1
A person may try to forget his past but it always catches up to them. In Mike's case his past was in a form of a demon with a man's face. Mike stared at the man who made his life miserable. For 20 years he had made himself believe that he was over his past but looks like he was wrong. His feet moved on their own, he felt his fist rising and punching the man over and over again. Once he started he couldn't stop, it was like something was controlling his body.
"You bastard, you made my life miserable. You are going to pay," Mike shouted while punching the man. Soon enough he felt strong hands pulling him back. He tried fighting the person off but he was no match, so he finally stopped.
"Mike let's go, now!"
"Dude what was that?" Alex, who had managed to stop Mike from killing the stranger asked. "I've never seen you behave like this, what happened?"
"Alex can you please drive the car and forget about it. I don't want to talk about it." "Ok dude I just wanted to know who was that man who made you turn psycho like that, but if you don't want to talk then fine." "Alex it looks like my past is about to catch up with me," Mike sighed
Mike
It's been a week after the incident with that man and Mike has been the topic. The tabloids had such amazing stories to tell. The most hilarious one was that, Mike was so high that night he thought he was seeing aliens and the poor man fell victim. What was surprising though was that the man was nowhere to be found, after that night he disappeared and no one know where he is. This didn't sit well with might because he knew that this man was planning something big. But it some way it was great because he was not sure how he will react the next time he sees him. He was just angry that after so many years the creep still managed to make him feel so insecure. His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Alex's shouts.
"Mike get out of the shower before you finish all the hot water now!" Yep Alex was angry now, he hated taking cold showers, Mike laughed. Mike and Alex had been living together for 15 years now. When they found each other both were not in a great place. Both of them were models for a big house in Mount Ridge and Alex has recently started acting. They started out as friends but now they were more like brothers. Mike was grateful for Alex because if it wasn't for him he wouldn't be here. But now Mike was scared that he would lose this too because of that man. He better hide and not come out because if he does he would kill him with his bare hands. Mike wasn't sure how Alex would react if he told him the truth. He knew Alex was not shallow and that he too had a dark past but he wasn't sure if he would be able to handle this truth.
"Relax I'm coming out. I haven't even been in here for 2 minutes." When he came out he found a fuming Alex at the door. Mike couldn't help but laugh at his friend. His friend could be such a diva sometimes.
"Hey Alex today I won't be joining you for breakfast, I will be going to the office," Mike told his friend. "But why? We are having a break for 2 weeks then why you going there." "Because the bosses wants to find a solution for this problem I put myself in."
Mike went to get dressed so he can go to see the bosses. He dreaded the day ahead, he was not ready to face them. He had never had bad publicity before. "Oh well here we go," Mike consoled himself. He chose to wear his gray and black active pants with a white t shirt and white Nike sneakers. He just hoped that there will be no journalists outside. Looks like the gods were with him because outside was normal with no sign of them. But when he got at the office building he had no such luck, the entrance was blocked with journalists. Getting inside was a nightmare.
When he was at the reception area he met Levi the bad boy here. By the drowsiness in his eyes he was already drunk, which was nothing new. The only time he had seen him sober was during a show, he didn't know how this guy could be such a drunkard and yet remain the most good looking one. "Hey should I be worried?" smirked Levi. "Worried? About what?" Mike was clearly confused by Levi's comment. "I heard that you have currently joined my squad, you are now a bad boy too," said a bubbly Levi. "Levi I would love to continue our talk here but I have to go and see the bosses now." "Good luck with that the old man was very grumpy today." Levi's dad was one of the board members of the company so Mike took his words seriously.
