Synopsis
Chance Sexual Encounters…The “What If” Collection synopsis
All through life many things come along that we have to make decisions about. Some we say yes to and some we decide to pass on. Jobs, apartments or houses, friends to let into our inner circle as examples. But one of the most intimate and personal options that most of us encounter involves our sexuality. Who we are attracted to and why, whether or not to listen to that little voice of reason in our head…or maybe it is a voice of emotion and passion…about taking a new lover. Maybe we are worried that there are some conventions of society or some standard of morality that will not allow us to seriously say yes to some. But what if we just let the circumstances and our deepest desires and needs have a stronger vote?
What if we did not necessarily let our past sexual experiences and experience matter? Well…that is what this collection of short stories is all about, hence the title “The What If Collection”. Join our protagonists as they venture into situations and possibilities and perhaps even new experiences, maybe ones they have been keeping locked away in the deepest recesses of their imaginations for a long time as they enhance their own sexuality or maybe even discover a new one…one they have been hiding sway or one that just catches them off-guard. All from chance meetings or snap decisions they made.
In “Wilderness Experience”, take a hike with a man who gets the surprise of a lifetime on one of his regular adventures into the backcountry. Or tag along in “Old Friends” as Jeremy and Kathy reconnect much more deeply than they had planned from a simple FaceBook conversation prior to a high school reunion. Then there is a woman who has her sexual dysfunction shed following her rescue from a stranger who pulled her from a deadly avalanche in “Safe Haven”. But maybe the business world is more your focus. In that case, read of the woman who has her sexuality turned on her head in “Flight 749” when her flight home gets delayed due to a canceled flight from severe weather.
These and many more await, but all fall into the simple supposition of “what if” when a chance meeting comes along. Maybe you will see yourself in one of the stories? You never know…
