Prologue
August 3,1998
Dear diary, I Aubrey Andrews is going to make a change in this town. I’m going to be competing in the national swan lake competition tomorrow morning.I was nervous at first but then I realized why I was doing it.For my family and friends. I never thought I would make it to this day.
“Bri come on mom said we have to go see Dad!” My sister Marley yelled from downstairs.
“Alright give me a few seconds.”I told her as I slipped on my white converse shoes.
“5 4 3 2 hurry up it’s almost at one 1 time up come on.” She said just as my foot hit the last step.

The next day.
“Alright bri what are you gonna do on that stage?!” Marley asked trying to boost my confidence.
“I’m going to rock the hell out of it and win.” I told her looking at her with the biggest smile on my face.
“That’s right not go get them girl.”she told me getting me up just as the judges called my name. I walked out as the music started playing I swayed my legs to the calm music. I relaxed myself so that my legs took over I looked over theaudience as I saw a person holding a gun in there right hand and. Before I knew it I was laying down as black spots cover my vision. My sister was holding my hand as my mom sobbed while talking to the cops.
