He is hovering over an infinite feature, an exquisite puzzle, a grand authority, mother systems of a maze as ancient as the mind itself. He reckons an unavoidable affliction to this phenomenon. He delves into the mind, the birth of a new host. Society, community, family. A father, his heart beats faster as these lost memories flood his conscious, a woman, his son.

It was 6 30am as he woke up in a cold sweat, his 5 year old son stood beside his bed, "You were snoring loudly dad," said Oel. "You brush your teeth yet?" Eoj asked his son. A TV broadcast- "Protests continue as the economic crisis leaves millions jobless while unemployment benefits have been banned across the globe. The Nile river has dried up leaving many nations in war, drought, famine and in need of humanitarian aid. Mass human trafficking is on a record high. The nation of Acirema has used a nuclear weapon on a small nation obliterating it, experts say no life form can exist there until after 1000 years. The Commoncolour nations have voted to ban pregnancy. In local news, a doctor at St. Helland hospital has been found to own a warehouse housing human organs and has been arrested." Eoj glanced at the TV as he put on a tie. The babysitter had come and was making breakfast. She greeted Eoj as he emerged from his bedroom, looking at him straight in the eye. Eoj sees her nude, her hair flowing down to her buttocks, a long thorny tail extends from her behind to curl over her explicit labia and up her hanging breasts. Her tongue is like a snake's, slithering, seducing his heart. He sipped liquid from a cup and hugged his son goodbye, reminding the babysitter to get Oel ready for school. A school bus picked Oel 30 minutes after his father had gone.

The city was a cosmetic orgy of technological bliss. Roads networked in neurons and synapses to ensure order and left no room for uncertainty. Motor vehicles were transported in a coordinated randomness. Eoj listened to jazz trumpet as he drove his modern car, a series 31. It ran on a new fuel which led to a ban on carbon emitting fuels. Eoj was an information officer at a global Data Warehouse. His company hosted and provided data storage for the major organisations of the world. He sat in his office typing away, "Can you take that St. Helland case, man?" inquired Mip, Eoj's colleague, as he crashed into Eoj's office. "Why, it’s your case, isn't it." said Eoj. "Becaaause, the wife wants me home early today, I'll owe you man." Eoj read the case report, flipping to page 2. It read, "Dr Evad admits to have killed and taken patients organs for financial gain. He admits to selling human organs to a secret buyer and maintains he does not know the buyer. He says this has been going on since he joined the hospital around 20 years ago." Eoj coded in a language comprehensible to and interfaced with a digital peripheral trying to solve the St. Helland case. He identified transactions of large sums of money routed via a foreign protocol from a strange address.

It was now 6pm, he had missed lunch and was drained by work. As he dozed off, he heard a glitch, a strange voice said,"Namuh llik niotarepo." He wakes up to an apocalyptic scene through a window in his office. Worm-like life forms landing on the city like raining meteors. The sky is scorched black as these forms annihilate every matter in their way. Eoj rushes down to the parking, switches engine on and races his car, heading home to his son. The roads are paralyzed, cars are crashing into each other causing major fatalities. Eoj turns, trying to avoid a van that is reversing fast at him, his car overturns, does a few flips and lands on the side of the road. He struggles out of the car, only to stand face to face with a giant worm. It whips and smacks him with its tail. He shoots up, his body armoring with indestructible alloy. A majestic wing builds on his left arm, his feet are propelled by a combustion in the foot gear, his right arm is a one piece arsenal- guns, rocket bombs, clubs, bow and arrow, swords. His head is covered in a helmet shaped like in bird's head. He swings his wing, its blade slicing the worm dead. He is flying at supersonic speed. He unloads a barrage of bullets at the hundreds of worms, shredding them to pieces. More and more worms falling from the sky, Eoj speeds to his house. He got to his house, it was quite. He headed to his son's room and saw him asleep. He shut Oel's door slowly and headed to look around the house. The babysitter was by the lounge now. He sees her nude, lying on the floor, her skin is shiny black, her tail is standing on end. She pounces on him smearing her venomous fluid on his alloy. He pushes and bangs her against the wall. She shrieks as he pins her tail to the floor with a sharp sword. He unloads a gun and blows her brains, also cutting her tail in the process. Eoj decided to go to Mip's house to discuss the St Helland case further. He found Mip's front door open. He walks in to a dreaded image of Mip's wife recoil her bloody tongue from Mip's severed throat. Her nude body shiny brown, her tail dislodged into Mip's head. He walked out disappointed. The air is intoxicated in fumes and vapour alien to humankind. He hurried back to his house, where he collapsed on the floor beside his son's bed.

7 am, "Are you drunk," Oel asked his father, as he looked down on him, on his bedroom floor. "No son, just tired, we go to your grandma's house today, ok," said Eoj. 10 am, "Dad, where's your car?" asked Oel. "At the garage Oel," answered his father, as they boarded a taxi. Oel's grandmother was a loving mother but most times critical of Eoj's, her son's way of life.
