Summary

Sean Knight knew what true, lasting love looked like. He grew up around it. What he never expected was to feel it himself when he saw Luna. It was love at first sight for him. Since Luna was too young for him. He decided to wait for her. She is his first and only love. Since Luna was too young for him. He decided to wait for her. She is his first and only love. Since Luna was too young for him. He decided to wait for her. She is his first and only love. ************ Excerpt from the book- “That feels good. I like your laughter against me.” “How do you do that, seem so cold one second and warm the next?” “Am I cold with you? I don’t mean to be. All I feel when I’m around you is the need to be closer. The need to have you. When you’re close, I feel…” He pauses as if he’s looking for the right word. “Whole.” A rush of love for this man courses through me. I realize he hasn’t been cold at all. He’s been intense. His one mission has been clear. He wants me. No, the cold is something I got from all the things I’d read about him. “They call you The Wall.” I glance over my shoulder, looking at the room filled with people. I notice a ton of people look away as I do it. Clearly they’ve all been staring at us. “Everyone is looking at us,” I mutter, more to myself than to him. “Yes, they are watching The Wall crumble for his queen.”

Chapter 1

Luna’s POV

″Jesus, this thing is hideous″Ava scrunches her face in disgust as she continues to run on the treadmill. She set it up in the living room first thing when we moved in.

when we live together in the dorms, she always went to the gym at the university, which she hated. I guess because guys were usually hitting on her. But its only a guess because I’d never gone to the gym with her, nor would you ever see me on that treadmill. I don’t run, unless I’m running late, which I never am.

“What? It’s cute,” I protest, pulling the pink fuzzy blanket to my cheek, rubbing it against my skin. “And it’s so soft.”

She shakes her head at me, and I throw the blanket across the back of the leather sofa.

“This place has no color. It’s gray, black or white. It needs a little something.” I move the blanket to show her how good it looks. I know nothing is going to get her to love the pink throw, but I know she’ll let me keep it here.

Paige doesn’t really care about fashion or design. She likes things simple, clean and put where they belong. It’s a trait I loved when we got paired up to room together at Yale. Being crammed in a small space with someone else is rough, so it makes things easier if the other person is clean.

My phone starts ringing . ″Its your brother″She passes it.

″Hey,Adam. How is everyone at home″

″Hi. We are fine. How is your new apartment?″

″Its good″ Ava

″You know that you can come home anytime you want″

″Yeah I know that but I want to live in my own apartment″

″When are you joining your new job?″

″tomorrow″

″Ok,be safe. I love you.″

″Bye,Adam. Love you too.″

“Ok keep it″ Ava says going into the kitchen.

What’s next? Vases with fake plastic flowers and throw pillows?” This time she smiles as she says it.

“No, not plastic flowers. That’s tacky.” I turn around, picking up another box we need to unpack. We’ve been here for a few days but all I’ve been doing is reading anything and everything I can about Pure Lush company. “But throw pillows might be nice, maybe some pictures on the walls, too,” I suggest, making her laugh. I want this place to be homey. I’m starting off on a new adventure, and this is the first part of that.
