Dhampyre.

A rare hybrid species born from the union of a vampire and a human.

Originated in ancient Balkan, Dhampyres were once an abomination amongst their kind. Vampires repudiated the mixed blood as their kin, and humans refused to be associated with creatures harbouring a demon’s blood. Abhorred by species of both kind, Damphyres were left to fend for themselves.

But then something perplexing takes its course.

A tragic strikes a small Balkan thorp, swallowing the whole village in a deadly wildfire. As human and non-human entities desperately tried to save themselves, a Damphyre single-handedly rescues the entire village before death could swallow it whole.

As the news of this Dhampyre’s power travels the continent, realisation began to seep in that perhaps this bizarre creature is far more powerful than they had anticipated.

Intimidated by their extraordinary and inhuman power, the world now battled to befriend one such creature. Monarchs and world leaders desperately foraged through the continent in search of a Damphyr, to turn one into an ally.

Vampires and humans who once had rejected their kind, now have renounced all the hate they had once held for Dhampyres.

Dhampyres were now treated as an equal and were allowed into normal society. The once hated creature, now slowly makes their place in the world.

But things took a sinister turn when Dhampyres mysteriously started to disappear. Not even a carcass was left behind when the last of Damphyres took a mysterious leave. Baffled, the whole world rushes to renew the existence of Dhampyres.

But no attempt could bring back the once powerful creature.

And then slowly and surely, the tales of Dhampyres vanished between the pages of mythology.

A millennium later, amidst a bustling city, there slowly emerged a last surviving clan of... Dhampyres. Somehow, through every obstructions, they have managed to survive the cunning and lecherous mastermind that had erased their entire species.

But now, they thirsted for revenge, for blood lust.

In an attempt to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of their own kind, the last remaining clan of Dhampyres were desperate to seek for help.

Even if it meant succumbing to the power of their sworn enemy.

With nowhere else to go, the leader of the clan had to strike a deal with a powerful coven. In exchange for their help, the Dhampyres promised the coven to help them in their quest to find something quite rare or rather someone.

But a powerful coven didn’t rise to the throne by merely taking someone for their words.

They had to test their loyalty. And there was only one way to do that...

Rosabelle Ambrosia, the youngest daughter of the Ambrosia household, the last remaining clan, was a soft-spoken, reserved and aloof young girl.

Born and brought up in this bloodline, she was taught to abhor their sworn enemy, the Vampires.

But as luck would have it, she was pushed right into the arms of a deadly coven of bloodsucking demons.

Or more specifically, into the arms of the ruthless leader of the coven.
