Summary

This is a collection of melancholic poems, which were written in the past year. These are merely a form of art that expresses feelings that I try to understand while also making them a form of art. It contains mainly melancholy but there are also some poems which are inspired by other works of art such as books, myths or nursery rhymes. They're usually obvious but I will include a disclaimer.

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel

And it’s brighter than they say

More beautiful than anyone can imagine

And it feels like breathing air

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel

And it’s only bright because of what it represents

It exudes a feeling of calmness

And a hope that never ends

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel

And it can fill your lungs entirely

It brings promises of truth and freedom

And it promises to do so quietly

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel

And it shines brightly against the darkness

But as much as I want to reach the light

It remains solely on the horizon.
