Summary

The Mating Games: A set of games, created to showcase a wolves skills. Skills that guaranteed the races’ next generation. Love wasn’t a priority. Survival was. It’s been years since the beginning of the games. Each year unmated males and females are forced to go to the ceremony as per tradition. Stormie doesn’t want to go. Why should she? She didn’t deserve a mate. Not after what she did. She’d rather kill her wolf and live among the humans and forget it happened.

The Big Bang

Prologue:

The Big Bang: Entropy

All was empty, silent, endless, and filled with darkness until a well of creation emerged. Whether it was from sheer spite or out of the formless void, a primordial eutierria, Gaea was born. A being able to procreate and shape everything known and unknown in the universe. A being who believed her sole purpose was to create a home. A startup for other future Gods. The beginnings of a new world, of order, balance.

With a single thought, flashing pinpricks scattered in the veil of darkness filling it with bright twinkling lights. All of them, beacons of hopes for all the soon-to-be lost souls. Then, because everything must have a cause and effect, black holes appeared. A manifestation of destruction in its most pure, unadulterated form, bending all things to it’s will. Planets ballooned and scattered across the galaxy, attracted to the gravitational pull the beautiful stars provided. They danced happily around the bright ball of gas for their newfound home. Comets zoomed across the sky, leaving behind a trail of light where they once were. Asteroids lived with their kind, straying once in a millennium, refusing to conform with the majority, instead willing their way out and searching for a better home.

Galaxies upon galaxies emerged through the void, all connecting with one another. All creating Gaea’s body, all being a part of her. When all was done, Gaea deemed it well enough and vowed to only come back when the world was ready to start over again, when the God’s had all their fun. Then, with a final goodbye, she laid down and underwent a deep dreamful sleep filled with all the things she created.
