Invisible Strings is about tacit understanding between two people about their relationship, even with the lack of label attached to it as they grow up. Portia had never intended to fall for her best friend. She didn't want to ruin their friendship just because of her measly feelings, but she couldn't help but want to stake her claim on all of River's. They were young, and the time wasn't right so she continued to bury her feelings and wait on the sidelines. But fate wasn't exactly on their sides. Life and growing up inadvertantly separated the two of them. Will it all end bitterly for them to just move on with their lives? Or will they somehow find a way back to each other?
