SUN AND THE SEA
ON THE MID-SUMMER OF 1996 ON FOLRIDA BEACH.
LITTLE ARIYALA BILLIARTAND YVES HUBERT AGED FIVE AND TWELVE ARE PLAYING ON THE BEACH. LAUGHING AND RUNNING AROUND.
“ARIYALA!!” YVES SHOUTS HER NAME AS HE THE BIG WAVE COMING CLOSER TO Them, Ariyala turns to look at him as she laughs. he runs closer to her and draws her as they run and she laughs while they were running.
“you still have the nerve to laugh out right?!!”. He shouts
“yes because I know you will always protect me every time”. she brings out her tongue while jumping around.
“not always dumb head” he flicks her head
“ouch, that hurts” she hits his hand and starts to leave.
“Ariyala wait” he runs after, and holds her hand stopping her from leaving.
“let me go you said that you will always protect me, we are not friends anymore”
“I promise I will always protect till will die”.
“no that’s not true” she removes her hand and tries to leave
“I swear”
“what if you find somebody else?”
“that will never happen will grow old together and get married and have kids”
“you promise”
“I promise”
"Pinky promise?". She brought out her pinky finger.
"Pinky promise". He also brought out his finger and they swore letting the sun and the sea become their witness.
"The sun and the sea is our witness". They both chorused.
"Silly girl" Yves pats her on the head.
