"The mix of romance and mental health was really mind opening. Honestly when I first started reading I didn’t know how this was going to work out, I thought that Astrid and Conner would be enemies for life. I also didn’t think that their parents would eventually overcome their mental hurdles. The information granted into this book is very informative and probably correct. The author gently opened my mind to mental illnesses, and that it’s not as simple as ‘toughen up buttercup’. Life isn’t always fair, doesn’t always play by the rules but you must accept that’s just life. That’s how life plays by, it’s own creative sometimes cruel character. "Awesome story. Tackled some difficult issues in a very nice way. Made me laugh, cry, angry and all the emotions one can feel. Love how supportive Kai is. I am happy her dad is slowly but surely changing his perceptions. Learned a lot about mental health. Grammar was bad in some instances but because the story was so intriguing, it was ignorable. "I love it. Relationship+Biasness+Mental Health+ etc All these seems heavy but the author mix it well, not that deep but just nice to make the reader understand what is it about. The plot is ok, a bit dragging at some part. You can add up more or make a sequel by creating kai life story and how astrid actually helps him to be better person, what kai sees in astrid in a deeper way."
