It is the year 2077, Arden is now an 80-year-old woman. The story is set mostly in her perspective to her granddaughter Céline.

My sixteen-year old granddaughter was a stunning beauty. She had come to spend the summer with me. I was a lonely old woman and since Niko died things got pretty quiet.
"Hi Grandma, how are you?" She asked, smiling and kissing me on the cheek.
"I'm fine, now sit." I said gently patting the seat next to me. She gladly obeyed, her big bright blues eyes kindly looked at me with awe and love.
I lived at my late husband's estate which now was run by one of my grandsons who took up the family's business. It expanded over the years, developing into something much greater than we ever could have imagined.
I miss the old days.
"Céline bring me that photo album. Did I ever tell you the story of your grandpapa and I?" I asked, browsing through the pictures of us.

"I don't think so, but from what I've heard he was a tough man to deal with." She said, pride resonating through her speech. I could tell she was proud of her heritage. The child only knew of the legend not the man I knew. And the man I knew was far worse than the legend.
"Tough doesn't even come close, my dear," I said, chuckling to myself. The man was a devil.
"Well, I think it's about time you knew."
Moving from the chair next to me, she stooped down in front of my wheelchair, legs crossed with shining, eager eyes.
"It was the year 2017. I was 20 with a wicked streak and a killer fist..."

I read this book on Wattpad and I must say, it got me hooked!! Its really great to see this author is spreading her roots to other platforms as well. Great work MidtofDesire👑
