Prologue:
The way his laughter rings in my ears is something I don't ever want to return to. His face, a look of amusement fixed on it, is pissing me off even more, only making me want to slap it. "What's with you, Kelly? They were just a few stupid kisses." Luca says to me after he finishes laughing right at my face.
My cheeks warm as I stammer, "I-I thought I was-"
"-different from the rest?" He asks me with a look of sympathy on his face, like I'm a kicked puppy. "Please, Kel. As much as you are the hottest girl I've kissed by far, people like us just aren't meant to be. It's in our DNA."
I purse my lips and hiss at him, "Go fuck yourself, Aiden."
He glares at me before snapping in his Kiwi accent, "Don't go around comparing me with my big brother. We aren't the same person."
"Liar," I spit at him through gritted teeth. "You're just as bad as him and Clair!"
"Don't you dare bring my sister into this!" Luca yells at me. "I won't hesitate in hurting you if you bring her up again."
The rage swimming in his dark green eyes seem to hide the fact that I used to gush over them with my friends each time I saw them from across my bedroom window. The twinkle they once had, which reminded me of morning dew, now remind me of the sparks that hop about on an open flame, always crackling and endless. His ashen blonde hair continues to fall into his eyes as he glares at me, the venom within them threatening to spill out.
The small scar below his left eye stands out when he's angry; it stays white while the rest of his face goes red like a tomato.
"This only proves that you're nothing, but a dickhead!" I scream at him before taking off towards the opposite direction.
The howl of rage he lets out rings in my ears as I continue running, the light breeze of spring blowing against my face. I take in a sharp breath once I arrive in front of my house, both my hands clenched into fists. I'm out of breath because of how much energy I've used up, but that doesn't stop me from allowing the tears that fall to continue flowing down my cheeks.
The beautiful Kiwi boy I'd fallen in love with doesn't love me back.
Stupid me.
Stupid, stupid me.

A/N: PROLOGUE DONE. BAM.
I promise you, the story is not as stupid as it seems. At the moment, I'm not very pleased with it, but not to the point that I'll delete it. There was a major plot hole when I was discussing my plans with Nya (if you guys have actually bothered checking her account, I'm pretty sure you figured out who it is XD)
