The Christmas Tree
‘Lyvia!!! We have to leave soon to get the tree!”
“I’m coming just give me two minutes”
“You said that 30 minutes ago!”
“Yeah but this time I promise”
“Okay fine but hurry”
Olivia Wilson loved Christmas. The snow, the food, the presents and spending time with her family but what she loved most about Christmas was the decorations. Olivia loved all the bright lights and the glittering tinsel on the forest green tree. It was so magical to her and when it was time to get the tree she had to look her absolute best. It was one of her personal traditions. She just had to decide which headband to wear. Should she wear the Rudolph one or the chinmey with Santa’s legs poking out? She decided to ask the one person that she knew best. Tim Brown. She called her most favourite person in the whole world. Tim Brown was her best friend. They had been best friends for years. “Tim?” She asked
“Yeah what’s up?” He answered while sat horizontally on a black chair, in a reindeer onesie and eating a packet of chocolate.
“Which headband should I wear?”holding them both up so that he could see
“I say Rudolph. Ya know I gotta vote for him, I love Rudolph, sorry Santa!” He replied while eating a chocolate.
“Okay. Thanks, but I have to go and get the tree now. I’ll speak to you soon. Bye!”
“See ya” He said before hanging up. ‘Okay I’m finally ready to go. And just in time too. The Christmas tree place shuts in an hour’ thought Olivia. “Okay I’m ready”
“Good let’s go!” Her mum said while handing her her coat. Olivia put it on while spotting the boxes of christmas decorations on the kitchen floor. She grabbed her woolly hat and put it over her blonde hair and rushed out the door.
She was sat in the car looking into the most wonderful woods. The evergreen trees with the sparkling white snow sat upon their beautiful leaves as if trying to look over canopies. She was admiring the woods wildlife when she saw something run through the forest. It stopped as stared at her, then it smiled showing its sharp teeth. She locked eyes with it. It had red eyes
