Summary
A normal life with its fair share of happiness, sad moments, abuse, and excitement was Laurel’s life. Or at least what she thought of it. A cupcake on her birthday, some funny talks with Tili and Tim, a little excitement of sneaking some food to the wolf who secretly came to meet her every day, and the abuse that she received from her father and brother seemed normal to her.
With no mother to have grown up with, this was her life since the time she remembered. How was she supposed to know that it was not normal? Abuse was something that she regularly received from her family and didn’t the teachers say that family always means the best for us? How do you help a person who does not believe she needs one?
When a secret wolf friend kidnaps her to save her from the misery she fails to recognize, Laurel comes face to face with her Alpha Wolf mate. If things could get any worse, Alpha Ethan starts to loathe his mate at the first sight considering her as a weak link for the pack. But little did he know that Laurel was anything but weak. He had no idea that the game of hatred he only started to play was already mastered by Laurel.
This is a rollercoaster ride of an abused and tormented human girl breaking the doubts of her mate to become a deserving Luna with no interest in doing so and not one male to show her support, except for one! Apollo!
