"There is little to no criticism that I can give. The story is well built and only the starting steps took a while before jumping full on into the supernatural. I hope the characters and their backstories are fleshed out even more if there is to be a 2nd."

"I'm not sure if the supernatural school/teenagers genre is overplayed but I never get tired of it. I really like these types of books and this book was spectacular at executing it. It's not only about the villain or antagonists. It's about that as well as everything else. The sense of alienation from Griffin and the Underdogs, how the other students are affected by different things and everyone is actually learning. The class schedule for the Bermuda Academy is actually figured out. Not to mention the tease that the teachers of the academy also have a history that can be explored that is connected to everything. I love it, keep going at it!"
Overall Enjoyable
"I love the idea of combining a lot of well known supernatural fiction and fairy-tales into one giant world. That being said, it takes a bit before the story fully kicks off and starts getting interesting. I understand this as any beginning because you need to introduce characters and set things up. The back and forth of all the characters' perspectives are really good to read and experience. It shows each character's development in the story and how it forges together. Since this is book one and the ending sets up sequels, I can't wait for the next one and see what other myths and legends the story explores."

"I like it but it doesn't catch my attention 100% in the 1st paragraph. I also would like a little bit of charter development in the 1st paragraph. I really would've liked to read about obtaining the amulet. It was a strong 2nd or third chapter. I truly think that if you gave me more time with the protagonist before introducing more charters it would be an amazing story"
