OH NO!

As Jimmy unlocks the front door of his house, holding a few bags of groceries, he catches a whiff of a sweet, yet metallic aroma filling the air. Jimmy smiles to himself thinking he might be able to scare his wife. He creeps up to the kitchen and slams the wall and yells, “WHATCHA COOKIN, GOOD LOOKIN!” Instead of a scream, Jimmy finds a small trail of red splattered onto the floor. Before he can get closer to inspect the liquid he hears a faint THUMP. Softly, he calls out, “Honey, is that you?” He waits for a second but hears nothing. Slowly, he walks up the stairs to the bathroom following where the sound came from. The same smell continues to grow thicker and sweeter as his heart anticipates the worse as he gets closer. With a small push of the bathroom door. He falls to his knees in shock as he finds his wife dead in the tub drowned in the red liquid. His soft please of disbelief turn into a repetitive scream for her, “Oh...No. God No. No No. NO!” Abruptly, something bursts through the wall on cue. With a pitcher in it’s hand, it yells, “OH YEAH!”

Knox Hollow: Little Bunny

Neenee73: The author managed to weave instant tension and mystery from the get go. It was a balancing act that kept me guessing and made everyone look like they could be a villain which is on par with the great writers of mystery like Agatha and Doyle. I was jumping at every creak. If you like tension in ever...

I can't have full conversations with them as I've only memorized like 50 words but I thought this story was cute and it ...
