I sighed and looked up at my Nonna. "Nonna, I'm tired!" I whined. Nonna hushed me and grabbed me as we walked forward. We stopped at the check-in office. "Eheh, hello sir! My name is Nina Baker and this is my granddaughter Sara Baker."
"Are you here to get an apartment?"
"Yes sir." I butted in, and Nonna glared at me. She then smiled at the check-in worker and we walked to our apartment. "Now Sara. The furniture will come tomorrow so bare with this air bed. My name is Sara Baker. My mom died two years ago in a tragic accident. My dad, I haven't seen him since birth. I live with my Nonna.
"Bye Nonna," I said as I walked out the door. "School," I muttered facing the huge crimson building. A plump woman with pale skin and red hair was greeting everyone by the door. "Welcome to Lava High! I'm Mrs. Mullen, the principal." I shook her hand and smiled. I walked in.
"Woah," I said. Everyone was wearing red, black, or white expensive coats. "Hi!" A chirpy voice came from inside me. "Hi..?"
"You don't belong here!"
"Excuse me?"
"Yeah! Don't you see!" She pointed at everyone. "We're rich, you're poor. So leave! Anyway's, my name is Mackenzie. But I don't want people like you to say it!"
"Bratty much?" I said and walked away.
