Chapter 1
Dark and dim and blinding light
All seems the same
Cruel mist that never ceased
Like echoes in the back
Crushing bones, feet that stomp
Screaming crying, my ears are wringing
Please make it stop
I catch my breath as tears begin to drop
Sleep eludes and nightmares seep
Is there no way out
A way to bleed without the hurt
A way to bring myself back
Like a mothers hum so serene
I long for these times still
When I am me and you are there
When the grass is green
The raging storm has and ever will, Be present everywhere
Tremble now, don’t repress let the waves crash without contempt
For when the cloud parts and the seas calm
You’ll learn to sail once again
