"My king with all do respect, but these are dragons we are talking about. They are known to kill anyone within a mile radius of their kingdom. Let's not forget that their king is a filthy bastard who 'loves' to have his way with women." Lord Gyleto says as the king sighs while rubbing his hairy chin. The others nod in agreement as the king sends a glance my way just as Lord Isavio speaks up.
"I suggest General Derniel goes in Lady Elysia's place. Not only do they look down on woman who are not 'obedient' and woman-like, he is much more capable for this mission." He says making Merida scoff but keeps quiet after I gave her a stern look.
"While that may be true, Lady Elysia has had many more victories than Sir Derniel. And the majority of us council members can assure you, Lord Isavio, that whether it be a great threat or filthy men she can handle it without a problem." Lord Faequr adds making many of the other lords nod in agreement to his words.
While they nodded in agreement the king took this chance and stood from his throne. His silver eyes reaching mine, making my dominant side rise. Our little stare down caused some of the lords to go pale while the king held an amused smirk.
"The girl gots some guts! Just what this kingdom needs!" He laughs making the pale men sigh in relief as the king surveyed all of us. "Then I have made my decision!" He says reaching my eyes once more as he announced my destiny.
"General Elysia Rinevya will lead the Moon Knights to the dragon kingdom and if unable to get an alliance she will eliminate the king and anyone who opposes."
"Yes your honor!" We all say while bowing as he walks out of the throne room. Lucky me.
