21st Birthday
Narrator: Once upon a time in a not so small town in Spain lived a beautiful woman named.........

So before I get into this story let me speed you up on what has happened so far. Oh! My name is Amelia Esposito I am a twenty years old college student trying to get to America to finish my studies. I have two really good friends my best friend is Sophia Russo she is twenty-two years old and then there is Jax Bianchi he is twenty-four and let me tell you fans my face that I am sure that it is RED. Tomorrow is finally my twenty-first birthday and I will finally be able to go out with my friends. I was excited because I was finally legal and able to go out with my friends, but at the same time it was depressing because my best friend was moving state side to finish her schooling. Don't get me wrong we have been out many times but they would either have to buy my drinks or I would have to use my fake ID.
You see we currently leave in Spain. It is where we were born and raised went to school everything. We even decided to major in the same things when we went to college. Though she got a really good invite to intern at a law firm in New York City, I was jealous at first but I knew my mother would never let me go. On the upside to all of this, I would still have my other good friend. I can't say he is my best friend because I am so madly in love with him I just couldn't ruin our friendship with that news. He is also my neighbor and my mother HATES his family.
So there it is a little back story in to my life as we know it ugh...... On with the story, let me know how you like it. "I wish my mother would let me go with you to finish my studies as well." I exclaimed. "Ask them again, maybe they will change their mind." Sophia screamed back from my bathroom. "You know damn well that my mother will never let me leave here, besides tomorrow is my twenty-first birthday and she said I had to be here to receive my gift." I explained. "Well I love you and we will keep in touch, but at least I am not leaving until after your party." Sophia pouted. "On the plus side to all of this you will see Jax and be able to tell him everything." Sophia giggled. I look at her like she has grown two heads, and I start shaking mine.
"I doubt that but let's see how we can get me out of here tomorrow." I said softly. "So how do you suppose we do that?" Sophia huffed out. "So bestie what do you have planned." I whispered so my mother could not hear. "Ugh Amelia you know that I am not any good at this kind of stuff that is why you have Jax." Sophia huffs out. "I know I know it is just if we don't have a plan she will never let me go." I exclaim. "Let's come up with something I will also talk to Jax he may be the only one to get us out of here tomorrow." I groaned. "So are you planning on staying the night?" I asked. "Only if I can sleep in that amazing guest bed that I always get to use." She casually. "OK, let's go tell my parents that you're staying that way mom doesn't come walking out of her room wearing that scary face mask of hers." I busted out laughing. "HAHAHAHA I know the one. She scared the crap out of me when I was little. I never wanted to be home until that night. That was the night that changed it all." Sophia said gripping her stomach laughing. "Me too me too I never got up in the middle of the night again. Let's go talk to them." I said still laughing so hard.
We go down and talk to my mom since my dad is out of town working, he promised to be back before my party that my family throws me every year. Hopefully my older brother and sister will come this year.
Today is my birthday hold on..... three...two...one....
WAKE UP BITCH IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sophia screams out.
"I am up geesh chill out and keep your voice down you don't want to wake the evil step mother." I jokingly say. She really isn't my step mom, but she does treat me like that a lot. I think she likes my siblings more. More my sister then my brother. GOD Rosalie bends over backwards for our mother. To the point that she even agreed to an arranged marriage. Dad said that I would not have to go through anything like that. I hope he is right.
"Shit sorry let's plan this." Sophia whispers. "How are we going to get me out of here, without causing a scene?" I question. Sophia taps her chin and I feel like she is contemplating the apocalypse here. Then I see her eyes light up and she gets the biggest grin on her face.
"What do you have on your mind?" I asked. Just as she was about to tell me her plan my mother walks in. "What are you two planning?" She ask and looking at us like we are planning a great escape. She is not completely wrong. Nothing mom just figuring out what we are going to do today you know since it IS MY BIRTHDAY!" I shout kind of.
She completely ignore the fact I shouted at her that is how I know that this day is not going to go as planned. "Speaking of birthdays?" She started speaking. "Tonight I expect you to be at dinner we have guest coming over." She stated. "What does that have to do with my birthday?" I asked. "It has everything to do with your birthday." She said angrily. "I will let you finish getting dressed and you AND Sophia will meet us downstairs." She said calmly running her hand down the front of her dress. "Yes ma'am we will be right down." Sophia said quietly.
She leaves shutting the door and I grab my pillow and scream into it and throw it against the door.
"UGH!!!!!!!!!! What! Can this woman want from me now?" I exclaimed. "It can't be anything with school. God I wish I was going with you more now than ever." I signed. "Maybe this is your chance to talk to your parents about going with me." She exclaimed. "I guess, let's go before she comes back and then we will never hear the end of it." I said.
