What is your opinion?

Thrilling, eerie, thought provoking

"This one kept me thinking for days after the novel was done! The story was thrilling and fast paced with imagery that's vivid and memorable. I loved how the author portrays the passage of time. Making use of rapid switching viewpoints and characters having eerie lapses of memory, you really get the feeling of how things are destabilizing. An interesting technique the author used was to leave many of the characters nameless and rather refer to their characteristics or job description. This intriguing approach gave me lots of food for thought. How we are all just numbers in the system, or not really know those around us. It also enhanced the sense that there are many more characters not mentioned in the story. At the end the novel also comments on society. Something not found in many thrillers. "

"Such awareness of pace and description! I have to review it before I finish it (fair play, Inkett), but the story is wonderful. Unpredictable, intense, and moreish. More please! "

When Silence Speaks

"I have found the story an awesome read because of the plot that is so unpredictable. The story moves fast and there is suspense all the way. You just have to keep reading to find out what is going to happen. Also I loved the character descriptions when referring to a person, instead of all names. It brings you into the story. The author has this natural way of playing with words that makes this story a great read."
