A letter from the author
Welcome to another short story adventure!
Since the release of Tales from Imagination Land, it has been on my heart to out another collection of stories. The response to the book was overwhelming and to everyone who crossed over from my debut project to this, I thank you for giving my work a chance.
For years, I've been meaning to write a collection of tales centred around the relationship I have formed with music and finally, I have gotten the opportunity. Much has changed since the lockdown days and post lockdown, I have found that music has played a large part in helping me cope and adjust to the new normal in a way that I could not have foreseen.
It is with great pleasure that I present to you Song Bird, a short story experience for the adventurous reader.
Written with specific songs in mind, each chapter is designed to allow a full multimedia experience which I hope will thrill and delight you, dear reader. This has been, for me, a project borne from a love of melodious sound, especially the kind which never fails to stir the heart and mind. With this in mind, I encourage you to whip out your headphones or ear buds and listen to your favourite songs you read along. This, I believe, will heighten your enjoyment of the book.
