Mary’s Story
December 12th 1777
Mary and her boyfriend were hanging out at Mary’s house. When Mary’s mother came home and made her boyfriend leave. Mary argued with her mother about why she was doing this. The next thing Mary knew she had been hit in the face her mother had slapped her. Mary left crying to her best friends house to stay with her for the night. When Mary got there she was arrested for stealing the car but was let go with a warning. Mary then called her boyfriend to come pick her up down the road from her house she walked to meet him. On the way to his house they were pulled over and Mary was told her mother had called her in as being kidnapped. Mary said she’d rather be with her boyfriend then her mean abusive mother. Even though Mary had only ever been hit that one time.
