The Beginning: The Beast Backstory

CHAPTER 1

Seth was walking home from a friend’s house at midnight when he heard a loud roar coming from his left. When he looked to his left he saw something he would never forget. A Black Chinese Water dragon was watching him with cold lifeless eyes that were a bright red. The dragon had massive wings that were furled on its back, huge talons that had claws so sharp that it was tearing up the trees they rested on, a long and powerful tail that had spikes covering it, long horns, spines going down the back, piercing red eyes that glowed, and teeth so sharp it could bite him in half. The dragon was wrapped around multiple trees with its head coming down one of the trees, eyes focused on Seth. The dragon slithered down the trees, onto the ground, and rose to its full height. Against the moonlit sky Seth could tell that it was bigger than he thought and started running as fast as he could. The dragon snapped at him when he ran underneath it and unfurled its massive wings. The dragon leapt into the sky and as it opened its mouth it let out a loud roar with smoke coming out of its nose. As Seth ran he heard the dragon roar in rage and looked back and saw the wings flapping. Seth ran for what felt like hours when he finally got to his house. The dragon behind him stretched out one of its huge front talons and tried to grab Seth but Seth made it inside the house before it could. The dragon screeched in rage as it landed on the ground with a loud boom. Seth called his friend who was still up at that time and asked him if he felt the ground shake. His friend said yes and asked him if he was okay because he started crying. Seth told his friend about it and told his friend to go outside and look down the street towards his house. His friend didn’t believe him but did it anyways as Seth kept begging him too and saw the dragon that Seth told him about. His friend told Seth that he believed him now that he has seen it and asked him if he could go out the back door and run to his house. Seth said he could try but he might get caught by the massive creature. His friend told him to just try and get out of the house without it spotting him. Seth went to the back door and walked out and made his way to the treeline.

The dragon heard the door open and when it snaked its long neck around the house it saw Seth walk to the treeline. As soon as Seth got to the treeline he started to run to his friend’s house but heard a loud growl coming from behind him. His friend who was still on the phone with him screamed out run and when Seth heard that he ran for his life. When Seth got to his friend’s house they both ran inside and ran down stairs into the basement. Seth and his friend sat in silence until they both calmed down even still they would not speak. Seth’s friend wanted to call the others but he did not the dragon to hear them. The dragon stalked outside for a while before it swung its tail into the house breaking everything in its way. The boys screamed in fear when the entire house was ripped apart by the dragon. The dragon heard the screams from the boys and started clawing at the floor above the boys. When the dragon got through it swung its head to face the boys and let out a growl so loud the ground shook. The boys jumped onto the dragons head when it snapped its teeth where they were and climbed out of the pit and ran. Seth called his friends and told them to meet at the cave they found when they went into the woods. They ran to the cave as fast as they could and when they got there all of their friends were there. One of the guys named Trey asked why they were to meet them at the cave but as soon as the words left his mouth they all heard a loud screech followed by a roar. All of the boys got dead silent after that and listened to the sounds going on outside. The noises sounded like something being attacked cause there were shrieks, screeches, whines, and low rumbles but Seth and his friend knew there was only one thing out there. After a while a loud shriek was heard before it was silent but even though it was silent the boys would not go out and see what happened. The boys then heard something enter the cave and make its way towards the boys but since the boys heard the thing at the entrance they all moved to the back of the cave not knowing that they cornered themselves. The creature that entered the cave was a demonized hybrid but the dragon and the hybrid are not from the human world. The creatures are from a world known as the animal world but no human knows about it. The demonized hybrid made her way to where the boys and when she got there she was blinded by bright lights. Seth and his friends used their flashlights on their phones to see what was crawling towards them when they saw the female. The female told them to quit blinding her and the boys put their phones down but faced it to the ground but not in the creature’s face.

All of the boys were shocked when they heard it speak fluent English but before they could ask questions the female said she will explain everything to them once they go to another area. She told them about another cave that is close by and after that they went to the cave. When they got there she told them her name was Skye and she is not from this world but another world called the animal world. Skye explained why she was there and who the dragon was that was chasing Seth. The dragon’s name was Danny and he was banished from the animal world because he tried to kill the queen when she was making her way to her throne room. Seth and his friends didn’t know what to say when Skye said that she was the queen that Danny tried to kill. Skye said when she found out she started to hunt him down cause he was not even supposed to be there in her world. Seth asked Skye how many worlds are there and she went dead silent cause she knows if humans found out about the other worlds then they will invade the worlds and take some of the animals and run experiments on them. Skye knows her brother Ej is watching her and is ready to go to the human world if she is attacked by humans. Ej is a powerful demonized hybrid that is known as the king of demons but he is a beast of demons as well. When it comes to his sister Skye he will kill people in two seconds who messes with her but he tends to keep a straight face when he does kill. Skye is known to keep a straight face when she kills and she is known as the beast, and the queen of darkness. Skye looks at Seth and asks him if he could watch something for her without anyone knowing about it beside his friends who are with him. Seth says yes and looks at his friends who say yes as well. Skye gives Seth an object that she says is a scepter. Her scepter that has her magic in it. The scepter had a wolf head that was silver with green eyes and a red crystal ball in its mouth.

When Seth got the scepter Skye told him not to drop it for the crystal ball would break and dark magic would go back into her and that would not be good. Skye had her magic taken and put in the scepter but when she got the scepter she shifted into her werewolf form and that caused the scepter to break a little. If the scepter breaks completely then she would shift into her demonized hybrid form, queen form, demon form, and her death scythe form. She knows if she shifts into those forms her urge to kill will be strong when she gets mad. Skye looked at Seth and told him that she has to go but she would be checking on them every day. Seth and his friends said okay and with that Skye left the cave and disappeared.
