Victoria POV:
"You're getting lazy and it will cost you your life if you continue on this way."
"Fuck off before I hit you where it hurts-- your pretty little ego," I said accompanied by my infamous smirk.
"Don't make me call Boss," he said with a smirk as well but holding an underlying warning.
I immediately tensed and got back to training while the errand boy left.
Jab...
I fucking hate him for what he did to me. Turned me into la diavola. But he will get what is coming to him, that's for sure.
Jab...
Like your own daughter? Are you serious? Were you that unhappy and unloved? He had to ruin my life for what reason?
Right punch...
I will kill him slowly and carry out killing demons just like him.
Left punch...
That's if HE doesn't get in my way. Always trying to best me and shit. No , never fucking happening. Over my dead body.
Spin kick....
I spun around with lighting speed and punched the person who tried to sneak up on me while I was fucking training. The person fell to the ground with a loud thud and a squeak.
"Damn girl. Ever heard of looking before you hit?"
"You know I can never do that," I said to Andrea, my best friend.
"Anyway, enough of the training we have to start preparing for the next mission," she said with a somber expression.
"Do you know who the target is?"
"No we will know once we get there."
"Alright give me a few."
I unwrapped my hands from the boxing tape and stepped away from the punching bag so I can head back into my room. On my way to my room, I was constantly being glanced at and bowed down to, which is normal for me because everyone fears me after they learned how I was trained.
Anyway I now got to my room and immediately locked the door so I could throw on my usual outfit for the missions. My black long sleeve crop top along with my black shorts, my black combat boots with spikes in front and my harness for my knives, sword and guns.
Once I finished I left my hair out in their natural form and went on my path to the meeting room. While being halfway there Andrea joined me but was surprisingly very quiet which she never is, but I didn't ask because we had no time for any sappy conversations. We finally reached the office door and we knocked before entering as was told to us in the beginning. Once we heard the booming answer of come in, we made our way inside and sat at our usual places, me at the head of one side of the table with Andrea to the right of me and warriors surrounding us.
But there he was my enemy, Xavier De Luca, we have been fighting for the number one spot for years. Well from the years I was brought back to life. I looked at him and gave him a glare to which he returned with a cocky smirk before diverting his attention back to my so-called father.
At the head of the table opposite of me held the boss himself, Adonis Petrov. We are not allowed to call him by his actual last name here but I can care less. To get our attention he cleared his throat loudly and began with simple things such as souls collected, the training statistics, and the house maintenance which left us all bored before he got on to the mission details.
"A war has been declared by the devil and his wife and I am excited about it. We are going to take them down if it's the last thing we do. I want that throne and you all will provide it for me. We will have our top warriors go on this mission, however the top warrior has an important role in all of this."
This peaked my interest so i spoke up,
"And what exactly is so important about my role per say?"
"Well thank you for asking. Do any of you know who we are fighting?"
Everyone shook their heads yes , muttering the devil.
"Yes we are but what I failed to mention was their last name. So let me clear that up for you all."
He let a dramatic pause
"We are killing off the Minorelli family"
Everyone in the room gasped but not me, my world came crashing down.
He's hunting my mom, my dad, and possibly my sister.
I have to do something but they probably think I'm dead.
I was grinding my teeth together trying to keep an expressionless face so no one could see the turmoil I am facing in my head.
"Tomorrow is when the war starts so all of you prepare yourselves," was all Adonis said before we made eye contact to which he smirked and walked out
That's it. I will not kill him at all, I would let my mum take care of him.
This is it though, my new life.
I will do everything in order for them to survive even if my secret comes up.
