The Red Moth Killer
There is a small country side town called Pinesberry. It used to be a peaceful little town, until bizarre incidents had occurred. These bizarre and, twisted activities began to happen when he came to town... The Red Moth Killer. No one knows who or even what the Red Moth Killer is. Some say that he is an Alien from outer space or another dimension. Others say that he is a demon brought to the surface from the very depths of Hell itself.
The killer wearing a strange red long coat complete with chains and black trims. His face covered by a black gas mask and black fedora hat. His long black hair blew in the wind as he walked with those black boots. And black rubber gloves covered his hands as he would mutilate his victims with a large bloody machete, but that was the least of it. The killer had murdered over twenty people and growing. And every one of his victims had their organs removed, all of them. Eyes, tongue, heart, lungs, everything. The killer also seems to enjoy leaving his calling card and cryptic messages using his victim’s blood.
His calling card he leaves behind was described by detectives as leaving his victims pinned on a wall with their arms spread out as if they appeared to be flying. The killer would then draw an outline of a red moth behind the victim using their blood. Sometimes he’ll cut their stomachs open to remove the organs. But one detective discovered something strange. One of the Red Moth’s victim’s stomachs was not cut open, yet his organs were still missing.
“So how did he do it?” the detective pondered. While investigating the crime scene further, he found a note left behind by the victim. This was what the note had to say:
Victim 19: He’s coming, I know he’s coming. He’s coming for me I can sense him getting close. A red colored moth came fluttering by me and that was when I knew that he would be coming for me. It’s like the red colored moth was warning me of what is to become my fate. What did I do to deserve this? What was my crime...?
That note was left by the 19th victim of the Red Moth. The curious detective later found an underground passage. He followed it down. The dark halls were filled with blood and bones. But what he found on the other side was most disturbing. He had come across a room, and upon entering that room he found a most disturbing setting. It was like he entered into a nightmare. A chamber with furnaces in the walls and bodies in them. Hooks and chains dangling from the ceiling. Bodies hung on the hooks as if they were fresh meat.
The walls were cracked and appeared to be bleeding. He found a person that was still alive dangeling from one of the hooks. As the detective walked up to him and asked who had done this to him, he muttered ‘Red Moth’. Upon hearing the sound of boots echoing in the halls, the detective knew that Red Moth was coming and hid. The Red Moth took off his gas mask. His eyes were missing and blood was oozing out of his sockets. He walked over to the victim and lifted him off the hook with just one hand. What he did next was unlike anything the detective had ever seen before.
Red tindrils suddenly popped out of the killer’s eye sockets and his mouth and pierced the victim’s eyes also entering the victim’s mouth. The victim, struggling from the intense pain, died. The detective was horrified. As the killer threw away the victim’s lifeless body, the red tindrils went back into Red Moth’s head. The killer then had eyes. Red Moth had gained the victim’s eyes and also his tongue because he could talk now.
It’s as if Red Moth has an ability that allows him to steal his victim’s organs and make them his own. The killer looked around the room with his new eyes.
“I know you’re here. I can smell your fear.” he said with a raspy and deep voice.
The Red Moth came towards where the detective was and threw him across the room. The detective pulled out his gun and fired, but the bullets were not stopping Red Moth. The detective managed to escape.
A week later, he filed the report. An interview was setup with the detective and this was what he had to say:
“The Red Moth killer is still out there, hiding, waiting for his next victim. The sooner we can find him the better. We can put an end to these murders once we catch him. But so far, nothing we do can kill or harm him. But we will find a way to do it. So far, he murdered over nine more victims. He’s still out there somewhere....”
