"I like the chemistry between Eve and the people who help her/ her boss but the filler parts that contain her family and friend lack a lot of substance, I can’t get through it unless I skip the middle parts. Otherwise the romance itself is has chemistry and I actually feel connected to the character, especially after a bit of a rocky start for me personally."

"I Find the action to be slow and boring especially at the beginning....after 200 pages they only have a meet up...also the author doesn’t get into the character’s pasts. What happened with Eve’s parents? What happened with Yan’s father? We don’t really know much about them. "
