BIRTHDAY
[Beep Beep] As the alarm clock went on , I, Rose started preparing to go to school. Today I was very excited as it was my birthday. After I got ready I went downstairs to get my breakfast, greet my parents and receive a happy birthday..............................
But there was only a note saying that they would come home late as they had to work.
Slowly my excitement vanished. I had always felt that my parents didn't spend much time with me but what can I do because this was there job not mine.
With a sad look on my face I took an apple from the kitchen and left for the school.
My school was close to my school was close to my house and it only took me 15 minutes to get there by foot. As I was walking I felt that someone was following me and then suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. As I turned around someone shouted ''HAPPY BIRTHDAY''. Oh my god it was just my two BFFs Clara and July who have been with me since childhood.
''July , Clara you two scared the hell out of me'', I said. Then July said that I was looking sad so they tried to cheer me up. Then Clara interrupted July and said ''Let me guess, you were sad because of your parents '' and I was like how did you know . ''How wouldn't we know it is written all over your face'' said July. ''Is it'' I asked and they both nodded.
After the long conversation I looked at my watch and just realized that we were going to be late and Mrs Angel's class was just about to start in 10 minutes.
Then all three of us started running like mad because if you are late for Mrs Angel's class then you will have to clean the hallway for one week and we certainly didn't want that to happen.
Although Mrs Angel's looks and the name is very sweet but she is shedevil . Fortunately, we made it to class although we were two minutes but we reached towards our seats by crawling under the tables. In the middle of the crawling someone swinged his foot and as i was under the table , it landed right on my face but I blocked it with my arm.
Then he looked underneath the table, and the I found out the one who kicked me was my friend James and he was kind of surprised to see me there and I was like ssshh please don't tell Mrs Angel. And he said ''ok but hurry back to your seat''.
Finally I reached my seat and was very happy to not get caught and my friends also reached to their seats. Looks like today was my lucky day. YAY.
