My life
Hey, my name is Katheryn, I love wolves and always have. Sometimes I see them in my backyard just staring most times they are gray wolves but others they are black. They only come out when my family is out, maybe they are scared of my parents and older brother. My parents and brother went to the store leaving me home alone im 17 and my brother is 20 he left when he turned 18 for a year he said he bought an apartment but he wasn't in contact for the whole year I asked to call him bit my parents always said he was busy. He came back with a woman his age I never seen before he said he met her in his apartment building.
She was very kind and had a beautiful blue look in her eyes when she looked at my brother it was almost like her eyes changed color. Her eyes were natural light blue, and my brothers were brown but when he looked at her it was like his eyes turned light brown then normal, but I never thought about it.
I hear my parents pull up my brother comes in holding 7 bags full of groceries I gave them huge hugs. "Hey sis" he said with a chuckle, "hey kiddo" I joke. My parents smile and tell me to get washed up for dinner.
I have school tomorrow and my bestfriend just transferred to my school it was called Bloombay High.
"Honey dinner is ready" my mum calls I come running down stairs I always have an appetite. We say are prayers to god then we eat, mum and dad make what they call the original dinner which is steak, green beans, mash potatoes and macaroni or pasta. "So squirt, how is school going" my brother asks "ughh trashy, I have a D in math but thats it my other grades are average" I reply with an attitude "you know I liked school when I was your age and thats where I met this lovely woman" he says and looks at my mom his eyes turning golden, at first I don't care because all I can think about is how CRINGEY that was. "Yuck" I say grossed out.
I excuse myself from the table and go to shower so I can go to sleep my brother sits in my room waiting for me to come out. "Hey squirt" he says a bit sad, "whats up" I say coming to sit on the bed with him, "so I'm leaving out of state for a while about 2 years but I just wanted to say goodbye first". My smile turns into a frown "w-w-what" I managed to say "your kidding right" I say he shakes his head no "When are you leaving?" "Tonight" he says sadly
I start to cry, he is my big brother he was my first bestfriend I can't belive he is going. "Sorry sis but I will spend lots of time with you when I come back" I cry but I can't be clingy, "I love you big bro" I say wiping my tears and giving him a hug. "I love you too baby sis" I walk him out with my parents by my side I try to stay strong but I can't help but cry. "It's okay honey" my mum says trying to comfort me. I give them hugs and go to bed its hard to sleep at first but I new my brother would be back in 2 years it's long but at least it's not 5 years or more.
