Welcome <3/Prologue

Hey there!

0

Welcome to my new story, One Text Away...

0

I have been working on this story for a while now, so I'm really excited to finally share it with you guys!

0

As always, there is some mature content, as in lots of harsh language and swear words. This story does mention delicate subjects like rape, and drugs, so if you don't want to be reading stuff like that, this story isn't for you.

0

I like my story the way it is, so please don't message me or comment saying you don't like it, because I do.

0

I love you guys so much, and I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm simply saying that this story isn't for everyone. And I do recommend ages 13+.

0

Alrighty, let's get into the story, shall we?

Hehe, let's do this!

Prologue

0

No, she didn't believe in coincidences, and she never would. Life (or God) had a way of messing with her, and she'd always found it annoying. She didn't know about other people, but she had horrible luck. And maybe that was part of the reason why she didn't believe in coincidences, but she just didn't.

0

When she was nine, her mom and my dad died in a car accident, so she was left with her two, grouchy older brothers; Everett and Easton. And what made it even worse was that they were twins.

0

Don't get me wrong, she loved her brothers. But like any sister, her temper with them was very short, because even though they were older than her, she felt like she had to baby them at times. And no hormonal, depressed girl wanted that, especially not her.

0

Because of her particular bad luck, she was cursed with horrible looks. A boy had never liked her in her whole seventeen years of life, and she was certain one never would. With her thin, black hair and ordinary brown eyes, what guy would've liked her? Even her own brothers didn't like me, because let's be honest, she was definitely not the nicest or the prettiest person in the world.

0

And what was undeniably worse was the fact that her brothers were the two most handsome boys on the planet. So, when either of them brought home their gorgeous girlfriends, she couldn't help but feel so spectacularly ugly. And that was never a good feeling.

0

She saw the way people looked at her. She saw the harsh glares and the eye rolls; it was something she couldn't un-see. Supposedly, she was the spitting image of her mother, but her mom was beautiful, and as you already know, she wasn't.

0

She didn't know why people hated her. She got that she was ugly; she got that she could be annoying. But what she didn't get was why the girls at her school thought she was some sort of threat. They acted like they had a reason to be jealous of her, and they didn't. Only a blind person would've been her friend, and maybe not even then. That's what she thought, at least.

0

My final point is; the girl had horrible luck, she didn't believe in coincidences, and her life was a complete mess.

0

Still interested in her? I didn't think so.

Short prologue, but it's better when it's short and sweet, right? I thought I'd just give y'all a little glimpse of Emma's life. But what did you think, anyway?

0

I know this is a different perspective, instead of first person it's in third person, but I thought it would turn out better that way. And I've also never written a perspective like this, so I thought it'd be fun!

0

Can't wait for you guys to read the next chapter, it's gonna be so great! I already have it written, so I would know, LOL.

0

Love y'all!

P.S all those who are coming from my Wattpad account, hey there! I will be posting more chapters a week on here than on Wattpad. So that’s a bonus!
