“Mummy! Mummy! Please! Wake up!” Little Azula yelled. Azula screamed as more wolves surrounded little Azula. Her father came leaping through the air in his wolf form. Growling at the rogue wolves.
“Azula! Get on my back!” He said, never taking his eyes off the stray wolves. “But mummy-” “Now Azula!” She kissed her mommy once more and got on her father’s wolf as he jumped over the wolves and took off. “Azula, I’m taking you away from the kingdom. To a pack. Papa will be waiting for you when you get older. Do not let anyone find out how special you are. I love you, my little beautiful star.” Azula hugged her father’s wolf as he breathed hardly. Azula got off his back and waved goodbye. “Love you, papa.” She whispered. He gave her a wolfy smile.
The door swung open just as Azula walked up the lady looked at the little girl. She gasped. Her prayers were finally answered by the Moon goddess! The child was so beautiful. The little girl had all white shining and her tips were a golden sun kissed cadmium yellow. She had one glowing orange eye and the other was a glowing silver eye. The woman so caught up with the beautiful child she didn’t notice she was shivering.
“Maximus!!!” The woman screamed. Her mate came running at her call fearing she was in trouble. He checked her for injuries before connecting with the small child. Mesmerized by her beauty, they took her inside. “What’s your name, sweetie?” The woman asked. “Azula Haoshi.” They smiled. And every since that fateful day. She had been hidden away from outsiders and the world.
