My Friend's Birthday Party
Introducing an Urban Romance Drama
Miranda went to grab her phone to call her friend.
She couldn’t even dial the number yet before some guy bumped right into her.
“Can you say excuse me?“. She looked at him mad.
“Oh my bad”. He said
“Um okay bye”. She said while walking away.
Before she got far the guy grabbed her arm a little and she turned around.
“I’m Kevin” He said
He was looking her up and down.
Miranda rolled her eyes annoyed.
“Yo'eyes going to pop out”. She said
Kevin laughed and said “I’m sure they will”.
He would not stop trying to make small talk.
“So you here alone?” He said.
“I wasn’t supposed to be but my friend is not here yet”. Miranda said
“I’m upset this her house”. She said
She had been waiting an hour. She only knew her friend’s brother Tyler and he was annoying because he was always trying to fuck her.
He would pretend to be interested in the things she said to get close to her.
The thing is you never know a person until you see their true colors.
She continued talking to Kevin.
“Do you know Rose?.” I asked
“Not really, I know Tyler.” He said
“Oh ugh.” She said
She rolled her eyes.
Kevin started laughing. “What’s your problem with him?.” He said
“He always trying to have sex with me and I don’t want that.” She said
“Damn maybe you haven’t found what you need yet”. Kevin said
“I can give you good shit just let me in”. He said
He said while rubbing her back. “I’m the best girl no cap”.
Miranda just looked at him and smirked.
“Okay.” She said
“It’s the truth that I’m the shit.” He said
Finally Rose’s intoxicated self stumbled in.
“Where have you been?.” Miranda asked while walking up to her.
Her boyfriend Marco was kissing on her neck. “Uh we were busy”.
“Finally ya’ll here”. Miranda wanted to get drunk with her friend but that was too late.
“I guess I will be drinking alone”. She said
“Hell naw you won’t”. Tyler said while coming down the stairs shirtless.
Before she could tell him to worry about finding a shirt. Kevin responded to Tyler.
“Me and her were talking". "She's good".
Then he put his hand on her back and moved her away.
They went over to where the drinks were.
She started drinking with Kevin.
Rose was passed out on the couch. She didn’t even cut her rose cake.
“I guess we will give her the presents when she wakes up”. Miranda said to Tyler as he walked over.
“Wassup”. He said to Kevin
“Nothing”. He said
Marco had Rose laying in his lap while she slept.
“Why ya’ll ain’t sleep together after her party?". Miranda said
“We was waiting for ya’ll”. She said
“Sorry we got carried away then she slipped on my d”. Marco said while laughing.
“Haa hilarious!”. Miranda said sarcastically
Tyler came over and was trying to kiss Miranda and he started grabbing on her from behind.
He was making her mad.
She noticed Kevin watching and he was looking upset.
“Come to my room Rose sleep ain’t no party”. Tyler said
“No get off of me”. She said
Miranda pushed him away.
" Stop acting like that”. He said
“Aye leave her alone she don’t want you”. Kevin said
Tyler ignored him and tried to hold her hand.
Kevin pushed his hand away.
“What the fuck?.” Tyler said
Tyler tried to swing at Kevin but missed then Kevin punched him.
“Kevin stop get off of him”. Miranda yelled
The sound of her voice woke up Rose.
“What the fuck get off my brother!“. Rose said
“Get out of my house”. She yelled
“Wait Rose!, Kevin was defending me”. Miranda said
“Tyler wouldn’t stop harassing me’’. She told her
“Tyler you a dumb man”. Rose said
“Whatever”. He said walking away with blood from his mouth.
Tyler went back upstairs.
“I’m sorry Miranda my brother a fuck boy ”. Rose said
They both laughed out loud.
“Thank you Kevin but you didn’t have to fight.” Miranda said
Kevin had no damage to his handsome face.
“I know but I didn’t like the way he was treating you”. He said
“I can treat you better.” He said while winking at her.
Miranda was super annoyed with Kevin trying to get with her with all that was happening.
Kevin understood why guys wanted Miranda. He believed she had no interest in being with any of those guys.
Kevin knew the only good thing about him coming over to Tyler’s house was that he met Miranda.
Miranda started eating and Rose started talking to her.
“Thanks for coming!“. Rose said
“Girl I see those hickeys on your neck!“. Miranda said while hugging her friend.
“Yea we had a private party.” She said
“Wassup with that guy Kevin?.” Rose asked
“He was cool with Tyler then got upset when he started acting up”.
“He was flirting with me until Tyler came around”. Miranda said
“You like him?“. Rose asked
“I don’t know him but what I do know is that he is super cocky”. She said
“He told me he can give me this and that ’cuz he the best no cap.” She said
“Damn Miranda take him up on that’’. Rose said
’’He is fine”. She said
“Girl you a mess!. Maybe I will see what happens”. Miranda said
They hugged and Rose got fucked up and passed out again.
Everyone started to leave.
“Hey, can we talk sometime Miranda?“. Kevin got up from where he was sitting to talk to her.
“Okay”. She said
They exchanged numbers.
“I’ll see you later”. Miranda said while smiling
“I hope I can see a lot of you”. He said while smiling back.
