Behind The Mask

It was a blissful day for the eight mixed squad called KINGS.

Their album had won the best album of the year at the music awards. Roddy won the best iconic male musician amongst the fifty young boys who were also nominated. All eight of them, Rodman, Caleb, Samuel,David,Judith,Celia,Diana, andDorcas arrived home around 12 am exhausted and decided to take a nap. Just after an hour when they entered their rooms, they heard Celia their lead singer moaning. They all put ear buds in their ears because of how loud Celia was when she was having an orgasm. Before Samuel could make another statement, Dorcas shouted from Celia room. The guys rushed to the room and panicked immediately. Celia had been stabbed with the knife deep in her stomach. The killer used her blood to write *muerte did it*

"Oh my God Celia!" Caleb said shaking

Who killed Celia?

Inspector Daniel was put in charge of Celia's murder case. He made the other seven walk out of the room, closed the door and began to get emotional for reasons known to himself. He checked Celia's body and found blood around her organs. The murderer was very smart. He or she wore protective gloves and made sure no trace could be found. His co partner, detective Bryan checked the security cameras which were hidden in the hallway and found a footage of someone in a mask coming out of Celia's room. He entered Celia's room and showed the evidence to inspector Daniels

"The killer is right in this house" Bryan said

"The person was in a mask. How do we know the person?" Daniel asked

They waited till the forensic team came for the body and lined up the seven others.

"Which one of you did it?" Daniel asked

"Man, I'm too fresh and handsome to a kill a lady" Rodman said

"None of us did it". Dorcas said

" Listen inspector, you have no right to start questioning my team and even accuse them of something they didn't do."Ken yelled at Daniel.

"Maybe they didn't do it. But a manager who wants sex in order to keep making Celia the lead singer can kill her during sex because she refused to do it anymore". Daniel said.

Ken's body and eyes began to feel rage. He being accused of Celia's death didn't cross his mind. He gave Daniel a dirty punch which landed him on the couch. Rodman stood in their midst and gazed at Daniel.

" What if the killer is out there?"he asked.

"We heard her loud and clear having that loud orgasm and she didn't seem to be under pressure." Rodman continued.

"I don't know why they put you on this case but you're causing more damage in less than hour since you arrived". Rodman said.

Bryan came downstairs with his empty hands. Daniel pushed Rodman aside and looked at Bryan.

"There is no mask in this house" Bryan said.

"Then it means that the killer has hidden it somewhere else"he added..

" It means nothing!" Dorcas cried out

"Respect our grief and walk out of this house" Caleb said.

Daniel gave Ken a stern look and walked out of the house with Bryan.

Everyone gave out a deep breathe when they left. The house was quiet. Rodman walked into his room followed by Judith five minutes later. Samuel noticed that movement and also climbed upstairs. Rodman entered his room and forgot to lock it. He took of his shirt, his shorts and looked into the mirror.

"This is me. Handsome, good looking and intelligent" he said to himself. Judith opened the door and shut it. Rodman looked at her with the corner of her eye and slowly approached her.

"You've been waiting for this moment". He said.

He took off her clothes and began kissing her. He carried her to the sink in his washroom and put her on top of it. He spread both her legs and began his course of action. He grabbed neck and choked he sweetly. Judith rested both her arms on his shoulder and crossed her legs around his waist and looked up to the ceiling. Samuel walked into Rodman's room and heard him and Judith banging it loud in the washroom. During midnight, Bryan the detective sneaked into the mansion with a shovel and began digging. He saw a shadow in front of him and turned.

He saw the person in the mask.

"Muerte" Bryan said.

Muerte took of the mask and revealed the identity of the person behind the mask.

"I am muerte"

Bryan was given seven shots straight on his head with a silent pistol so that no one could hear.

Muerte put on the mask and walked back into the mansion.

Diana walked downstairs that early morning and saw that the front door was open. She walked outside and felt a cold breeze blow past her. She walked to the backyard thinking it was Dorcas on her morning powerful prayerful sessions at the backyard. She walked there and saw Detective Bryan's body lying there with his head full of gunshots. Her next words turned to a loud scream which broke the boundaries of each of the other's ear drum. They all rushed downstairs and saw Detective Bryan's body with his head full of gun wounds. Dorcas passed out immediately she chanced on the dead body. Rodman carried her unconscious body to his room as the rest stood there devastated with what has happened. Caleb took traumatized Diana to the living room as David tapped Judith

"i am going to call Ken and inform him about what has happened" he said and walked into the main house.

Samuel and Judith were the only ones left at the scene. Judith felt awkward when she realized how Samuel looked at her. She chuckled at Samuel and walked tried walking out on Samuel. Samuel grabbed her arms with force and stared at her.

"you think what you have with Rodman is a relationship? It's just sex. he'll use and throw out like garbage and when you realize it, it will be too late" Samuel said

"whatever that is, i don't care. But i won't leave him to be with a psychopath like you.If you don't stop chasing me, i'll tell everyone that you tried to rape me once and i won't hesitate bringing down the little fame you've got. Maybe you might be the one behind the mask. Who knows?" Judith said

Samuel held her neck and tried to choke her to death, and that particular moment, Ken arrived with Inspector Daniel. Ken drew Samuel aside and said

"that's not how to treat a lady"

Samuel dared not to speak because it could bring up what happened between he and Judith. Inspector Daniel walked to Bryan's dead body and said to himself

"i warned you not to come here. look at what has happened to you". He turned in tears and looked at Judith, Ken and Samuel.

"Now, more than ever, i have no doubts that the murderer is in this house.Because Muerte has done it again. Who is Muerte?" he yelled.

"I'll start investigating Samuel if i were you. He was chocking me just because i assumed that he is behind the mask. He could be Muerte." Judith said and walked away.

"Samuel i want to see you right after the forensic team is done with the investigation" Inspector Daniel said.

Samuel rushed to Inspector Daniel and shouted

"Listen. I am not Muerte okay. I won't subject myself to this circus"

"calm down Samuel. You aren't being accused of anything" Ken assured.

Samuel calmed down and walked into the main house again.

Ken gave Inspector Daniel a stern look and said

"Be a professional. Don't take this too personal. Because that's how i'm seeing this. Does Celia look like someone you know? Or a daughter you never had?"

Inspector Daniel ignored him and walked into the house.

David locked himself in his room and began to scatter everything around him.

"what have i done?" he asked himself

Caleb also locked himself in his room and looked at himself in the mirror in tears.

"I don't regret what i did. I don't care what happens if anyone finds out. I don't care" he also said to himself.

Diana was still traumatized by what she saw. Judith entered Diana's room and embraced her.

" everything is gonna be fine" she said.

Rodman looked at how Dorcas slept quietly on his bed and began to think

" What if everyone finds out what i did? I don't regret what i did" he thought

Samuel sat on the couch and waited for Inspector Daniel. Daniel entered and walked towards him and slapped him when Samuel got close to him.

"Tell me, why did you kill them. Speak now" he grabbed Samuel. Samuel also gave him a furious look and grabbed his shirt.

"Tell me. Is Celia your family member or what? Because now, you are behaving less of a professional and more of a heart broken father"

Samuel looked through his window and recalled how he nearly choked Judith to death few hours ago.

"what did i do?" he said to himself. He thought about it for a while and decided to ask Judith for an apology. Before he could walk out of his room, Ken entered and shut the door.

"i must say that your reaction was very strange" Ken said.

Samuel looked at Ken and smiled.

"come on, Ken. That Inspector is taking things too personal. It looks as if Celia is his daughter" he said.

Ken walked closer to him and asked

"Why did you behave that aggressive towards Judith? Is there anything that i should know?

"You are our manager, not our father. Get this straight" Samuel replied and walked out of the room. Ken turned to the door and said to himself

"What kind of shit is going on here?"

Rodman sat on the bed till he Dorcas woke up. Before that he had a plan on how to break Dorcas' virginity since she was the only one among the girls in their group she hadn't yet put to bed. When Doracs woke up, she saw Rodman with a Bible in his hands. She was quite shocked that a whole Rodman was reading a Bible. Rodman turned to Dorcas and smiled in false tears which dorcas found so touching.

"Roddy?" she tried questioning

"Please let me kiss you" he softly asked.

Detective Daniel walked into Celia's room and checked her drawer and found her phone and her diary. He sat on the bed and opened the diary and found out a lot of things Celia had written. He checked Celia's phone and realized that Rodman and Celia had a secret relationship. He began to boil again and assembled all of them downstairs.

"What is this circus about again?" Rodman asked again.

Detective Daniel threw the diary at him and asked

"Why didn't you tell me that you were having a secret affair with Celia?"

Everyone was shocked.

"Could it be that you were the one giving her the orgasm on that night?" Detective Daniel asked

"Could it also be that Celia was the girl you left at the orphanage years ago. I've done my research. You gave Celia up to the orphanage's owner years ago. A month passed by without Detective Daniel finding out who killed Celia. His superiors took him off the case because he was emotionally attached to the victim. The murderer stayed amongst them with the comfortability of a guilty conscience. Who was Behind the mask? No one knew. Who was muerte? No one knew.

The FBI finally released Celia's body for burial as her killer was still on the lose. Dorcas, sang Alan Walker's Alone song as Celia was being lowered into the grave. It was to show Celia that even in death, they'll be with her.

Judith, Diana, and Dorcas herself cried as she sang.

Samuel stood afar from where Judith stood with Rodman. He fumed with rage and turned back only to see Detective Daniel arriving at the cemetery. Everyone was amazed. They all thought he couldn't find out about the secret burial they wanted to hold. He approached the graveyard silently with a sad look boldly written on his face. He stared at Samuel and received an impudent look back. Dorcas looked at Judith as Judith placed her head on Rodman's shoulder. Rodman looked at Dorcas and winked at her. Dorcas ignored his look and chanced on Detective Daniel immediately she turned from Rodman. It was time for a member to give a farewell message on behalf of the band.

Rodman threw his rose into the grave and began shedding tears.

"Celia, we're very sorry for not being there that night when you died. You were the only one who gave me the comfort I needed. I loved you from the bottom of my heart. Rest in peace."

At this juncture, everyone gave him a stunning look. Judith took off her head from his shoulder and looked at him. There was strict silence but every action there was louder that a word any of them could say. Right there, David looked at Caleb. Rodman wiped his tears and ran out of the cemetery. Everyone one began dispersing one after the other. Then when when it was time for Dorcas to leave, she felt a cold hand o touch her wrist. She turned and saw Detective Daniel giving her a Stern look.

"What is it?" She asked

"So Celia was your best friend?"He asked

"Yes" Dorcas answered.

"How close were you?" He asked.

"I don't know where you are getting to but if you think that I am your daughter's killer, then you are perfectly mistaken" Dorcas said and walked past him.

"Maybe you could be the one who was giving her that orgasm. Besides some female best friends end up becoming lesbians" Detective Daniel seriously alleged.

Dorcas was seriously touched and angered with what she heard. That alone gave her the strength to turn around and walk to him.

"Why do you keep giving me that queer look?" He walked to David and touched him.

"Caleb, did you kill Celia because I didn't want us to continue this thing anymore. You were very jealous when I started showing interest in Celia. Tell me. Did you do it?" He asked.

Caleb walked to the mirror and broke it with his bare hands.

"I love you David. I'll do anything just to have you by my side" he kissed David and felt silent hostility in his movement.

" Just let me go Caleb."

David walked out of the room.

Dorcas came to the house and rushed to the room without saying a word.

"I'll follow her" said Judith said. Judith rushed to Dorcas' room.

Diana looked upstairs and headed to Rodman's room. Rodman was quietly looking in his mirror by then. Diana entered , locked the door and walked straight to Rodman. "Roddy, why are you so moody?" She asked

Rodman saw this as a call for sex and immediately turned to Diana. " I miss us" he said. Just, there, he began to kiss and undress Diana. Diana gave in and dragged him to the sink where they used to make love. Rodman carried her on it and made a slight fondling around her nipples which took her into the skies.

"I decided to take this case. I'm now the head of my department and nobody is going to tell me what to do" he warned.

Dorcas looked at him and ran to her room. Rodman walked to Detective Daniel and asked.

"Why didn't you bring back up. Do you think you can find the murderer here?"

"Muerte is right here. He is definitely among you." Detective Daniel alleged.

Rodman grabbed him and threw him on the floor.

"Muerte might be outside. Now think twice before you do anything stupid. Because anything you do can ruin our reputation" He yelled and walked into his room. Caleb gazed at David and walked into his room when he saw that David moved upstairs. Judith and Diana gave Detective Daniel an imposing look and walked upstairs.

Their one and only manager had died. But what happened. How come Ken's dead body ended up in the man's on with both arms maimed?

That night, he just overheard Caleb apologizing to David for behaving rude. Caleb by the was giving David his word that he never did anything to Celia. In the midst of their homosexual act, Ken just barged into David's room on a quest to ask him about how their new song was going. He said sorry and walked out closing the door.

"He shouldn't have seen us" Caleb said.

"Are you trying to keep our relationship a secret forever?" David asked.

Caleb refused to answer the question and rushed out to catch up with Ken.

Whether be caught up with him or not, no one knew. Only David knew what happened that night.

Caleb came back into David's room with blood in his hands...............

David stared at Caleb when he entered.

"You murdered Ken?" He asked.

"No, muerte did it!" Caleb said

"There is no muerte. You are muerte!" David cried out.

Caleb grabbed David's arms and shook him. He even stained David's shirt with the blood.

"I am jealous but that can never push me to kill someone who caught us making love?" Caleb said.

David didn't know whether to believe him or not. Caleb on the other hand began kissing him with passion but David returned it with spite.

The next morning, everyone was stunned about Ken's death. But who did it? That was what Detective Daniel had to find out.

The first person he investigated was Rodman. His investigation was right in front of the others.

"Rodman, where were you around 1am today" he asked

"In my room. Where else would I be?" Rodman asked.

"What proves that you were in your room?" Detective Daniel asked.

"What, now you need prove to know whether I was in my room or not?"

"If this could make you better, I was with Diana. We had sex last night" Rodman spilled out.

There was a bit of tension. Diana gazed at Rodman and Judith turned to Rodman. Dorcas kept staring at Detective Daniel and looked at Rodman when he made such a revelation.

"Is that true?" Detective Daniel asked Diana

"Yes" Diana said without a haste.

"Could you say that the current deaths are linked to each other? If it is, what role do you play in it" Detective Daniel asked.

"You are supposed to investigate the death of Ken Rogers not Celia, don't you think so?" Rodman asked.

"I don't know. You tell me" Daniel said

"If you have nothing to do than to sit all of us here down and investigate us in such a wack way, then let us go and rest. When you are ready, you call us. I'll be in my room" Rodman said and walked into her room.

"Well, I'll also be in my room" Samuel said and walked upstairs. Judith walked into her room and Panicked when she saw Samuel naked on his bed.

"You'll definitely be mine today"

Judith folded her arms and walked to him. Show me what you've got.

"Are you letting me into you as a payback for Rodman sleeping with Diana ?" Samuel asked

"You can have me now or never."Judith said.

Samuel walked to Judith and kissed her. Judith stripped off her clothes and pushed Samuel to the bed.

"Let me ride on you with the style of sixty-nine" Judith said.

Samuel gave Judith a slight choking and Judith did her ups and downs.

Dorcas locked herself up in her room and sat in her bathtub and cried out loud.

"Celia. Stop haunting me. I didn't kill you. Stop haunting me" she cried.

Judith laid her head on Samuel's chest and raised her eyes to look at Samuel who was fast asleep. She kept wondering why she still had her head on his chest. Some months ago, she thought that Samuel was a psychopath. She still had such thoughts in her mind. She wondered why she made love with him. Was it because she thought Rodman never took her serious?

Maybe Samuel wasn't the psychopath she though he was. Maybe after deep thinking of how her future will be, she thought of finding someone to settle down with once and for all.

"Maybe you aren't the psychopath I thought you were. Maybe, you could be the one who would make me happy" Judith said to himself.

Samuel opened his eyes and was surprised to see Judith's head on his chest.

"Am I dreaming or what?" He said with a sleepy voice.

"Surprisingly you are not. I keep on wondering why I haven't kicked you out of my room yet. Maybe, you could be the one who will truly love me" Judith said.

Samuel stared at her and smiled.

"I've loved you all this while. But all I kept getting was your current rejection. I love you" he said

"I will learn to love you too. I promise." Judith said.

She kissed Samuel and laid down for another round of hot pleasure.

Detective Daniel walked into Caleb's room and ordered him to get out. Caleb out of fright decided to fight him. Daniel pulled out a gun which kept him silent throughout the search. In the midst of the search, Detective Daniel took out two shirts stained with blood with was hidden under the bed.

"What is this?" He asked

"Tell me what is this?" He yelled.

David barged into the room without knowing what was going on there and shouted.

"Caleb I need to talk to you".

That was when he also spotted David.

"What's wrong?"David asked

"Well, Caleb has a long way explanation to give on how these things ended up here and who they belong to".

Caleb looked at David and shook his head.
