Summary

But when the King dies, and the beginning of the Imperium Games is announced, her father asks her to do the impossible. Accompany the late king’s son as his healer. And Melody accepts. A prince with no crown Prince Jonas never liked his father. But more than anything, he didn’t want to become the next king. Thus, when the King dies, instead of feeling relief he is filled with sorrow. Now he must fight against twelve other lords over a crown he doesn’t want. Yet Jonas isn’t sure what scares him more, dying in this cruel game, or winning and becoming the next King of Ivertia. A warrior with no soul When Orayn enters a room, no one dares to speak. No one but Prince Jonas- the only friend he ever had. So when the King dies, and Jonas is forced to take part in the deadly game, Orayn knows there’s only one path for him. Accompany Jonas as his guard, and make sure he isn’t killed. All brought together. Now the three must find a way to get along if they wish to survive the first part of the game. They will have to realize who is truly their enemy, and who can be a valued ally before it’ll be too late.
