Prologue
Kristina Addison spent her life being a bus stop, waiting shed and a drive-thru if that’s the best thing that can describe her life and herself.
See, at the end of the day or maybe a week, a month, years, depends on their willingness to stay, everyone leaves.
Kristina always feels that chills brought by the season between autumn and spring every after a single human being takes their step and turns their back on her– leaving her alone.
The numbing sensation isn't a strange aftereffect though and I can say that, she’s already used to it.
But not the pain it brings.
And in her very crestfallen situation, she unexpectedly met the café owner of her favorite coffee shop, Sahil Damari Carson.
Right after the night of booze and untamed sensations, she woke up feeling the warmth of summer again.
With a fucking hangover, of course.
