The early chapters of `Inherited´
"`Inherited´ by J Michael Wright I found the story with the author's note that it is inspired by a horror classic. I appreciated the prologue, for it was fast with a good flow and atmospheric. Grammar and format were at least not lacking in any of the early chapters (on date of reviewing). The idea of dishing a prologue, then introducing one of the characters per chapter (seemingly the protagonists), does make sense, and the author has the skill to get it done. I remember my less mature commenting on each character (headsick-gal, puke-gal & drunkard-gal). LOL So, these are early chapters of a clearly growing into larger kinda story. They are worth a reading, and this could really become a wonderful, albeit not very innovative, horror story. It could also fail, being the next bunch of loonies-in-denial offing each other clad in delusions of ghosts & supernatural (like Blair Witch 2 movie, I guess). BUT, this author displays the skills AND the dedication to get the job done, so I have faith in this story growing into a worthy reading with some surprising twists, some suspense, and a horror not too copycat from already watched movies!!! Impressive start. Thanks for sharing, and yes, I like return-reviews, but I won't insist."

"I am entranced with this story I can’t wait to see what unfolds. All these siblings obviously have some deep rooted trauma from their mother and I need to see how that plays out. Can’t wait for more chapters. I’m hooked!"
