Summary

Danny is a human girl, trying to make it through life with the little that she has. Everything is threatened when she is taken and thrown into a dark room with a monster that feasts on blood and bone. How can this monster be anything good? Nico is an ancient being, alive longer than humans have been around. Taken by surprise, he finds himself captured by humans but how can he regret it when their actions put Danny in his path? She is the other half of his soul, the one thing stopping him from being the monster the humans already believe him to be. Now, he must convince her to choose his world, and all the enemies and dangers that lie within it, before she runs back to hide in her world of normal.
