"I could not put it down. Absolutely a great read. Written perfectly. The only thing I wish for was a little more insight into Aric’s mother. Why she turned on Liberty so quickly. And how did the reunion with Liberty’s mother go. Did she like Aric? Maybe there is a sequel to come??? How does the young Henry turn out? And what about the slave Alma(?), does she have a happy ending. I feel invested in her story now too. I only ask all these questions cause I truly loved your book and the characters. I want more!!!!"

"I really, really enjoyed this book! It was well written with a plot that is believable and the characters that seem as realistic as a Fantasy novel can get. There are little grammatical and orthographical mistakes (I am not native English speaking so perhaps I missed some). The only thing I think could get some editing is the end. The last approximately four to five chapters seemed pretty rushed and took some of the steady build over the rest of the book away... Anyway, it is a five stars worthy novel!"
