Former Alpha’s Mate

Tonight is the night where I turned 18, every werewolf around the world waits for this day so they can find there mate. A person that give you unconditionally love, a person the mood goddess herself made for you. My whole life has been horrible. I have a brother named Brennan who is two years older than me making him 20 years old. He already found his mate Alisa who's is one of my class mates. She turned 18 few months before me and they caught each other scent and found each other. Within weeks they were marked and mated to each other.

My father was the beta of the packed making me someone important but apparently not since neither one of my parents looked after me or cared for me. My own brother would watch other members bully me and hit me and he would stand there laughing with the crowed. I hated him and my parents with a passion. Then there was Bryson he was to be next Alpha and my brother best friend. His long time girlfriend Trisha was to be his Luna since he hadn't found his mate yet.

I had a long time crush on Bryson and he just ignore me but didn't bully me at all. He loved his girlfriend and she always rubbing it in my face about. My brother told me to stay away from Bryson and not even show him my face. I couldn't understand why my family or pack members hated me so much, I didn't do anything wrong to them.

My family were blonde with blue eyes and was slightly tanned and fit, where I had midnight hair and green eyes and was pale and skinny. My mother said that her mom had green eyes and my fathers dad had black hair. I guess I was just the ugly duckling to them. I stood at 5'4 where my brother and father were 6 feet something and my moms 5'9. My parents were fit people and did a lot of Traning course for other members but didn't bother to train me anything. They always shut me out of everything that had to do with crowd. They were ashamed of me I guess.

The alpha at the moment was Alpha Toman he was Bryson father and my fathers best friend, since the Luna died in a rogue attack years ago he had become ruthless and cruel over the years. Even Bryson himself is scared of him. I saw him couple of time but like always I had to not show him my face. He would travel to other packs and train the Alpha on how to handle his pack and he trained Bryson as well and since Bryson was now of age he wanted to pass the torch down. My father had been acting Alpha if anything were to happen in Toman absences.

But in a week he would be back to announce Bryson title to the pack members and make him Alpha and Trisha Luna. Only few more hours till the moon rises and I will finally have my mate who is destined to love me.
