Parenting is not about teaching your kid to sit , crawl , stand, run or jump to tick the check boxes of pediatric milestones. It is not about counting uno , dos , tres or getting kids to be spot on syllables .. Kids do learn all this by themselves .. at their own pace .. in their own world .. you just got to leave them discover, learn and unlearn when they prefer to ..
There is no good parenting or bad parenting as there is no good kid or bad kid. Kids are just reflections of “us” A mirror can only throwback what it sees. So parenting starts from none but “us”.
He/ she follows your virtues n vices. They are influenced by your thoughts and deeds. So live it out for them .. Be you !
1. Inspire them to live not conquer.
2. Encourage them to dream not chase
3. Nurture the urge for happiness not success
Let the next generation grow up to sensible humans with respect for each other. Let them design a new era of equal opportunity for everyone with no discrimination on gender, age or creed. Let them grow up to believe in themselves and trust their fellow beings.
