I started to open my eyes when I felt I was being kissed by the sun. I immediately rolled off my bed and went straight to the bathroom to do my business and get ready. As soon as I got dressed I walked downstairs to see my grandmother cooking some breakfast and my grandfather was reading his newspaper while drinking his coffee
“Morning papa” I said as I greeted him with a kiss on the cheek. Before you guys are wondering why a grown women like me live with my grandparents the answer is simple. It’s NO. I do have a room at my grandparents house but only when I’m free I spend my days there. Usually I’m in my own apartment in the city since it’s closer to the office.
“Good morning Bella. How was your sleep last night?” He asked. I walked over to my grandmother to give her a kiss on the cheek as well.
“It was great papa, I hope you both slept well” I wrapped my arms around my grandmothers waist and leaned my head on her shoulder while she continued cooking.
“Your plate is plate is ready go grab a seat and I will bring it right over” she said as she turned her head to smile at me. I nodded and let go of her and walked to take a seat near papa.
“So munchkin what do you have plan for today?” He asked while he’s still reading his newspaper. Grandmother walks over to the tables and sets our breakfast down in-front of us. She then took a seat next to papa and across of me.
“Thank you nana” I smiled at her and she nodded. I turned to my grandfather and see he’s putting his newspaper away. “Father called me in today to check on everything at the company today. He said he wanted to see how I would handle things on a day to day bases and it would help me learn more about the company before I fully take over.”
Papa just nodded his head and started eating. We finished eating and I set my bag up and was ready to go, I said goodbye to papa and nana as I was at the door. I then go in my car and started to drive to work. I drove into our company’s parking lot and decided to buy coffee before officially starting my day and lucky for me the coffee shop is right next to our building. I walked into the shop, ordered my drink and walked out. I was walking to my building when I heard a loud commotion happening across the street.
