Chapter 1- Getting to know Ian
"Good morning uncle Matt and aunty ann" I said excitingly.
"Someone's in a good mood today" uncle Matt said while aunt Ann stepped into the kitchen.
I mean of course I'm excited, I'm officially finished with high school and I'll be off to college soon. Plus I was already tired of living here without my parents. Today is the day my mail arrives to see if I was gonna be accepted into southeast collage. Apart of me already knows that I am in but my uncle Matt always says that you should not be too confident.
"Ian!" Shouted aunt Ann sounding all excited. "There's a girl at the door".
I was wondering who that could've been. It wasn't Pamela, or she would've just said so. I was in my room so I rushed out to see who it was.
"Hey nerd" kim said.
"Oh it's just you" I said disappointingly
Kim was this girl who I couldn't stand. Unlike most she was both beauty and brains. She graduated receiving more than three awards, she might be here just to brag about it in my ears. No wonder my aunt didn't say who it was she didn't like her either. The whole family didn't to be honest.
Without even waiting she just burst straight inside and started talking. As usual she was all about herself she spent two hours with none stop talking, telling me stuffs I couldn't stand to hear. Just wished my cousin Rob would just come out his room soon and I didn't want to be rude so I stayed with her in dining area.
Rob and kim are a couple, which is kinda weird because he couldn't stand her at times. He would go on and on about her doing things he didn't like and how he was gonna break things off with her, seems like something's wrong because that was like a year ago and they are still together.
Rob didn't want his parents to know about their relationship which they already knew from begin with but for some reason they're acting as if they don't.
Uncle Matt is a mechanic who has his own garage which is kinda a big deal in this town. He has different employees who works there.
Aunt Ann, who isn't my real aunt she's just married to my uncle is an police officer. Who has been hinking about retirement before my parents died. It's like she doesn't want to anymore.
Rob and Kim were going to the park for a walk, they are so dumb. They be going everywhere together and still doesn't suspect that aunt Ann or uncle Matt knew about their relationship.
"Mom, kim and I are going to the park"
"Sure no problem son. I'll be leaving soon so I won't be here when you get back" aunt Ann replied.
"Ok mom." He said as he left with kim.
Aunt Ann and uncle Matt got ready and left for work. I was home alone with nothing to do. "Should I watch a movie? Or listen to music all day?" I asked my self.
