Closed Door

My parents Edward and Dalilia had taken my brother and I to our Aunt and Uncle’s pack, while my dad and my Uncle Richard talked about pack business, my Aunt Lillian and my Mom took Duke and I outside. Duke went to hangout with our cousin Jake, my Aunt and Uncle didn’t have a second child at the time, so I was playing by myself. So while my brother and cousin were hanging out and my Mom and Aunt were talking about my Aunt’s baby shower. I decided to go and explore around the forest, for I always loved the forest.

I didn’t know how far I had gone into the forest for how long I had been gone, but as I kept walking I came upon a beautiful meadow, full of the most gorgeous yellow flowers. I had decided that I wanted to get my Mom and Aunt Lillian flowers. As I was bending down to get the most gorgeous flower, I heard a twig snap, but I thought nothing of it because I was deep into the forest and thought it was a deer or a rabbit. I continued picking all the flowers that I thought my Mom would enjoy, but as I stood up, a hand went over my mouth, I tried to scream and wiggle out but my limbs had gone numb and my eyes started to close.

As everything went black, I could hear my brother walking towards me in the distance shouting my name and saying to come back. He had said dinner was ready, before my eyes closed all the way I could see my brothers confused face with realization of what was happening. The rest of my family would find out soon enough from my brother what happened but they were already to late. I was gone.

I woke with a start, I could hear Collin coming down the stairs to my cell where I was not only tied up but the cell was covered in silver. Of course he loved to start his day off with a good beating in, as he got closer to my cell, I saw that he was not alone. He was with another alpha of a pack, you could feel the power rating off of him. I already knew that he hates my parents pack just as much a Collin does or else he wouldn’t be here. The man stepped into the light and I recognized this man anywhere, it was my Mother’s brother Shawn. Shawn hated my Mom from the moment my Mom was born because apparently she got everything she wanted.

“Is this her?” Shawn asked

“Yes, my most successful prize, she is the only one our experiments worked with” Collin said back with a grin over his face.

“Good, before I buy her, I’m gonna need you to put something inside of her” Shawn said

“Of course, whatever you need, Alpha” Collin said back

“Shawn what are you doing here?” I asked with a conceding tone

“Well, my little niece, I am here for you, and anything you that posses you” Shawn said, what does he mean by what I posses, all I have is my wolf Ace and she haven’t talked to me in years.

“What do you need with me, Collin has tortured me enough” I snapped back

“Oh I know, Collin has done an amazing job with you, little wolf, I just had to come at the right time to get you. There is one fire thing that needs to happen before you are mine” Shawn said

Suddenly my cell doors opened and many new people grabbed me, I had no strength to fight back. Collin grabbed my chin and brought it up to meet his eyes.

“Take her upstairs to the surgery room” Collin said

They pushed me up the stairs and into the room that I knew to well, the surgery room. They untied me and then retied me me to the operating table. As Collin started to put on his gloves and got the laughing gas ready for me, as I was starting to fight and scream, everyone could hear me. Everyone froze in confusion and then we all heard a gunshot. Collin ran to see what was going on, I sat there with confusion on my face, Collin ran back into the room.

“We’ve got to do this somewhere else, there here” Collin said

“Who’s here?” I asked but no one answered me

Shawn ran right in front of me as they tried to wheel me out of the pack house, but were meet by someone that I recognized but I don’t remember who. The stranger let out a small growl and had anger in his eyes.

“Where are you going?” The man asked

Collin and Shawn looked at each other than at me, they took no hesitation to unstrap me and run with me in their arms. I had always easily bruised and I knew that I would have bruises all over my arms by tomorrow morning. They ran and as fast as they could while carrying me.

“I think we lost him” Collin said, as both of the men let go of me and set me back down on the ground and retied my hands back together, for they knew that if I had the strength, I would fun for it, but I didn’t.

They got to the exit at the back of the pack house and the men pushed me out the door. At I tripped out the door, I ran into something hard like a boulder. I looked up to see the man from the hall, but more visible. He had red hair that was in a small bun, he was taller than me by a few feet, he hung over like a giant. He had blue to green ombré eyes, he had pink and smelt like something else. I instantly recognized this man.

“Duke?” I asked

The man looked at me and just smiled while hugging me, but in the instant Duke pulled away, I was pulled back by our Uncle Shawn. Then something cold came up to my temple.

“You move, I shoot” Shawn said

“Hey you don’t have to do that, let’s just talk this through” Duke said trying to reach for me

“Here’s the deal nephew, you let me and Collin go, and we give you back your sister” Shawn said

Duke had no other choice, I looked him feel in the eyes and shook my head, protesting for Duke to not take the deal and just knock them to the ground.

“Don’t do it Duke” I screamed

“shut up” Shawn said pushing the gun more into my head.

Duke looked away from me and nodded his head yes and took the deal. Shawn pushed me forward into Dukes arms and both of the wolves booked it into the woods. I started to cry and started to sink into the ground, realizing that I had just told my brother to let me die and take my capture alive back to our parents, but he said no. All I could do was cry and let the realization hit me.

“Shhh, it’s okay, your safe and here with me, no one will ever hurt you again” Duke said to me as I cried into my brothers arms. I don’t know when I had fallen asleep but I could feel Duke pick me up and carry me away.
