The Girl Who Lived ~ Prologue ~

Third Person

"Harry, mummy loves you. Daddy loves you. Be safe, be strong. And Annabelle, no matter what happens, I love you." Lilia Evans said to her daughter and nephew. A few tears rolled down her cheek.

"Lilia, what if we don't survive? What will happen to Harry and Annabelle?" Lily Evans asked her sister.

Lilia shrugged and said, "I don't know. But, let's hope for the best."

"Tom, don't do this." Lilia said to the man she once loved.

Tom looked at her with disgust, "Avada Kedavra!" She screamed and her body lay lifeless on the floor. "Oh, what a pity. You could have joined me." Tom said as he looked at the two children in the crib. He pointed his wand at the two babies and said, "Avada Kedavra!" But it did not work.

Two women walked up to the house the children were in. One woman had curly hair while the other had straight black hair.

"Cissy! We can't be doing this." The woman with curly hair said.

"Bella, We have no other choice. I don't want her to become a death eater." Narcissa said to her sister, Bellatrix.

"How do you know they'll take care of her?" Bellatrix asked.

Narcissa replied, "The Weasley's are a very loving and caring family. I'm sure they'll take care of her as if she was part of their family."

Narcissa placed Annabelle in front of the door with a note. The note said:

Dear Molly and Arthur,

Would you mind taking care of Annabelle for me?

Narcissa kissed Annabelle's forehead, then she knocked on the door. "Quick, I don't want them to see us." Narcissa and Bellatrix both hid in a place where they could see the door.

The door to the Burrow opened, and Molly looked around. She realized the baby girl on the ground. "Oh, you poor thing. Who would leave a precious one like you." She said. Then she saw the note. Molly took the note and read it. As soon as she finished, she looked towards the stars. "Lilia, I will take care of her, don't you worry."
