ShapeShifters

A new life coming in, a star bright as snow shining in the night sky. ShapeShifters are rare, but you’d never think they would be in the Island Realm. A ShapeShifter would usually look like a dark shaded unicorn mixed with a griffin. Royals that have midnight black feathers, they are the second best ShapeShifters. They are called “Midnight Shifters”.The first born ShapeShifter was a “Galaxy Shifter”, a Galaxy Shifter’s body would fade into a galaxy-like-illusion. The queen was the prettiest of them all, But her kingdom’s future wasn’t. The newborn ShapeShifter was the only royal child, but she was a Galaxy Shifter. Unlike any creature alive then, the royal family called her Galaxina. She grew to be 1,000 years old, doing the same things. Training, fighting, eating, dancing, talking, and getting in the most trouble of all the creatures in the realm. But during that time the Wizards had been tracking them, planning a reunion.

The Wizards were a foe, a non-friend, they hated any creature that stood in their way. The wizards took it to themselves to figure out what listened and what was a threat. Later on when they started capturing the poor creatures like griffins, mermaids, lobsters, and other terrifying creatures of all magic kinds. The wizards started a war by the time the newborn princess turned 782. But some of the wizards were friendly and wanted to help. One of them did so, they opened a portal for all of the creatures once the war had started. The same wizard let the last young griffin go while some of the magical creatures were leaving to the new realm. The Sky Realm.

When the princess of the ShapeShifters left thinking her parents did the same she flew into the griffin. He too was shocked by the others’ presence. He was just floating there confused.

“What’s your name?” He asked gentility.

“I’m Galaxina Rose, Princess of the ShapeShifters, But you can call me Galaxy” she answered with Pride and Worry in her voice. “And you are?”

“I’m Bubbles Anpu, I’m a normal griffin” He answered back with a glare.

“I can see that, but one question.” she paused as she flew closer to the griffin trying to show him the portal. ” What are you doing? Why are you leaving this realm to the sky realm? What is your business there?”

“I-” he started, but stopped right away seeing the uptight princess had something to say.

“Are you gonna spy on us? Start a new war? Tell me!” She said with anger in her eyes.

“I don’t know, the wizard just dropped me off here. I don’t even know where my parents are” stopping, Bubbles remembers the red sky in the battle.

“My parents!” The princesses stopped herself from saying anything else, grabbed the griffin and flew as fast as she could into the closing portal. Galaxina looked around the whole realm.

“This place is beautiful! Right?” Galaxina looked back, and saw that the griffin was passed out. He must have hit his head on the portal opening. She thought. “Now to sleep..” She paused as she looked around. “Bixso! (Bingo)” She flew into a cave close by, dropped Bubbles.

They spent the rest of the night in that cave. Once it became morning Galaxina noticed all of the creatures were in the core of the new realm. Galaxina, woke up Bubbles without saying a word and flew to the middle of the realm to see what was going on. ″There she is″ or ″what do we do’s″ were whispered all across the realms core.

“What’s happening?” Galaxina asked a worried looking stranger.

“It’s too painful to say” Said a random voice coming from the core of the crowd.

“Alex! Wait what do you mean? And why are you crying? I thought royal guards couldn’t cry!” Galaxina said in a confused voice.

“I’ll show you...” Alex said, placing a feather on one of her shoulders.

Bubbles was in front of her, Galaxina didn’t notice, the whole time but by the time they got to the core of the crowd he stopped and looked back at Galaxina. He opened a wing and pushed the others away just so she could see without needing to move any further then she already had. A tear slipped out, she was still as a stone.

“Mom... Dad...” Galaxina ran to the corpses lying on the ground in front of a wide fountain. “no no no no no no no no no n-” She took a gasp of air.

“It’ll be alright darling” whispered one of the laying corpses. “You’ll be the best queen this kingdom will ever see!”

“But what if I’m not mom, what if I put everyone in danger! I’m just a kid!” Galaxina cried.

“You won’t, I know you won’t” The queen said proudly.

“I love you mom” Galaxina said sadly.

“We love you too” The queen whispered.

After that the queen’s body went numb. Galaxina stood up and looked around at her new subjects. They bowed.

“Right now we can sob, and be sad but tonight we celebrate Queen Moonlit Gallo Rose and King Jasper Que Rose! Not just as royalty but as living creatures!” She shouted as loud as she could making sure everybody in the realm could hear her. They did what Galaxina wanted that day. And after a while of talking, during the celebration of the memory of the former king and queen, Bubbles and Galaxina started to get along. a few months passed and the little amount of creatures had finally finished building the large castle and medium sized houses to all of their liking. None of them wanted to live close to a griffin because such a creature was the cause of the formal royals deaths and so Galaxina made everybody apologize after announcing that she would not be getting married anytime soon nor would she be in any kind of relationship. But, because nobody wanted to make a house for the griffin, new Queen Galaxina didn’t want to force any creature to make a house for the griffin; she let Bubbles live with her in the castle.
