Dear Diary, today I met a boy. His name is Damien, and he's a jerk....But he's also sweet. I think....Let me start over. Today I met a boy. He stole my heart and won't give it back. What do I do? I've never dealt with this....I'm "naive, inexperienced, average girl-next-door Honey" and yet he stole my heart.I'm terrified.

That one little diary entry was the catalyst for it all.

It had all started with a look. Damien and I locked eyes and I knew then that my heart was as good as gone. He had captured my heart with that look. It might have been the way that his eyes had smoldered with interest or it might have been a couple weeks later when we locked eyes once more. But all I knew at that moment was that I was a goner. A definite goner.

Looking back on it, it all seems a little cliche. But back then it had seemed anything but cliche. Everything had been like a fairytale, so perfect that it seemed like a dream. Until it wasn't. Our whole reality had come crashing down just because of a few little words.

They were words that should have brought us closer together but it had only made us drift further apart until we were practically strangers.

I guess that's what happens though when your diary somehow goes missing though. You find love in some of the most unexpected places.
