Chapter 1
SERENA'S POV0
I was still enjoying my sleep before...."Serena,Serena you dumb ass,come down here this instant" my aunt Marie's voice rang out. Ouch, that was my worst nightmare, can't she ever let me rest "coming Aunt" I yelled. I ran into the bathroom and had a hurried shower. I lost my parents 2 years ago and I've been forced to live with my aunt who finds pleasure in hurting me any second she gets. I quickly put on jeans and a T-shirt with a denim jacket and ran downstairs. I went to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast for her, after serving her she ate to her satisfaction and poured the remnants down the sink. I sighed deeply, well that means I'm going hungry again.
She left for work while I had to clean the whole place up.
ARES' POV
"Alpha,considering that you havent found your mate, we want you to...." "Oh will you all shut up" I growled. I'm not letting the council talk me into getting a mate. I will find my true mate no matter what it costs. "But alpha..." And elder spoke up, I glared at him with hatred in my eyes. "I wouldn't mind throwing you into the dungeon and torturing you myself slowly and painful" I threatened and he gulped and I smirked at the reaction, I love making them scrambling for the hills. Torturing and killings were my favourite past time. "I swear...." "Son?" My mum's voice called out from outside. All eyes farted towards the door and my mum's figure came into sight. I calmed down at the sight of her, this is one of the reasons I need my mate. I turned towards the council "Now leave here" I ordered with my alpha voice. They all scrambled for the door and greeting my mum "Luna" before leaving.
I sank down into the seat and sighed deeply"don't worry son,you'll find her" my mum assured me. I just hoped it will be true.
I need to let off some steam. "I think I need to go to the training ground,I'll see you later mum"
"Hey wolfie, how'd you" my beta Come greeted. I looked around and saw my warriors all sparring against each other "how was the meeting?" He asked "same as ever" I replied. "I'm sure you agreed huh?" He smirked and I scowled "how dare you?" "Yea,let's beat some ass" he smirked and I chuckled.
After five hours of training
We got tired and decided to rest "that was some kind of training" Cole sighed and I replied "yea,got to go, I've got stuff and by the way where is Max?"
Max was my gamma and in charge of the warriors. "Y'know hes out in town, ordering for some slaves" I nodded.
Yea the omegas were already finding their mates and leaving. We need help in the kitchen especially for Mandy the chief cook.
I got up and dusted my
Sweatspant, grabbing my shirt I started walking towards the direction of the pack house. I would have had my own house but when my dad died,I decided to stay because of my mum, I wouldn't want her to hurt herself, the pain of losing a mate was terrific. "Nice ass buddy" Cole called out and I'm sure most of the pack members heard it. I growled and gave him my middle finger.
