Summary

To think that her own mother had caused so much fear and confusion brought her stomach to churn. She had heard the stories, but to watch them unfold before her very eyes was maddening and she would have closed them if she could; but it was no longer her journey. Tisiphone, was no longer in control. She was trapped, in very much the same way her mother had been, and she wondered how the voice of a Host, long thought dead, could be swirling about in her head; as if narrating a different side to the story... All she could do was listen, watch and learn. There had to be something in the stories that could help her. Something that could save them when darkness came for them all.

Last but not least, upon finalizing the manuscript, we learned that another of our beloved fans was taken far too soon. We want to dedicate Valkyrie: Song of Darkness, to Brian Miller. May you roam the fields of Sanctuary with Judy Poole for all eternity.

We know you’re both watching over us all. Once a Petal, always a Petal!
