Chapter 1
Vanessa's POV
My life was simple with my family until my mom and dad died in a rogue attack leaving me with my little brother Dean , who was only five years at the time and me thirteen years old .
After their death , our lives changed. Because the pack that one's showed us only love and kindness changed.
We were naturally beta's because our dad was the beta of our pack . But we were immediately demoted by the Alpha of our Pack to lowly omega's .
Life In The Park became unbearable because I had to look after my brother and myself.
we were made to serve the Alpha and his family but some of the pack members used as me as their slave.
" hey bitch why don't you come and give me a good massage " Sapphira,vthe pack's one and only whore would scream anytime she saw me empty with work.
' oh yh , why don't you go fuck yourself ' Adrian my wolf whom I have never met spoke.
"What did you say " Sapphira hissed making me jump .
"N-Nothing " I stuttered feeling scared.
"Better " she remarked sarcastically before walking away from the kitchen where I worked .
"Adrian, I thought we talked about this". I half shouted at my wolf.
' what , I can't believe you . How can you let her talk to you like that ? . You know she's not better than us considering that we have beta blood and she a warrior's .'
" But we............"
' but what! You know I could have taught her a lesson or two if you had given me total control !' she snapped .
"Oh really ? So I'd be the laughing stock again simply because I can't shift !?" I snapped back feeling sad.
' I'm sorry, really I.......' she apologized feeling bad .
"You know it's okay "
'don't worry, I will show you myself one day. I don't know how but I can't shift like a beta wolf should but maybe it's all for the best. You know the Moon goddess is always there for us ' she tried to comfort me .
"OK , but can we get some sleep now ? " It was already night fall and everyone was asleep. So I went upstairs knowing Dean had already gone to bed . I climbed softly into the mattress the Alpha was kind enough to give us .
Once I was content with this life.
' what about our Mate '
"Mate? Ha I don't want one . All I need is Dean and you ."
'ugh '.
"Mhmm , Good night Adi"
